I have been doing some searches again for another app... this time, I am looking for a contact app that when my contacts update with Google, it adds a version to the phone that will allow me to add a ringtone to it. Is there such a beast? Or am I just going to have to do these things manually? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated

Hey everyone! I figured the easiest way to get everyone sharing 3D content was to use this list of email addresses that people have registered for using TwinPic!
If you haven't gotten TwinPic, get it here.
If you are NOT already in the list, reply to this thread with the email address you registered with, and I will add you!

Your list had 8 duplicates, so I fixed it for you, by putting them in alphabetical order and hopefully you can avoid any future duplicates

[email protected] but every time it says I don't have it installed when someone tries to send me a pic. Even if I try to send myself one. I have tried all sorts off different capitalizations to no avail.
Edit: wiped data, uninstalled, and installed latest rc1 and works now!
OK. I went a little nuts with the sending. I'm fine now though. Lol.
Btw. Shinzul, I'm calling Photoshop on that cat man. Those eyes are a little TOO hypnotic to be real!

I did the same. Could you change the "s" in [email protected] to lower case in the op?

Nevermind. I found it on market.android.com and just pushed the installation to my phone that way. Not sure how this is any good at all, though.
I have it difference idk they released for the iPhone as well and you can sent pics so I'm guessing is like a blackberry messenger lol

WHY DO WE LIKE IT? It's weird to think that this can be a standalone app apart from the clusterzuck that Facebook can be but, well, it really can. It's as good as GroupMe or Kik or WhatsApp in the sense that you're chatting with friends without racking up SMS charges but it's better than those services because most people have Facebook accounts and don't need to sign up for a new service. It's easy to add buddies to chat (through their Facebook account or phone number), almost scary easy to attach your location to each message and less complicated than GroupMe to start a group chat.
Even if you hate Facebook, you don't hate your friends right? The Facebook-ness of the app is invisible enough that even the most anti-Facebook guy will have to admit this is actually decent. Seriously, strip the Facebook away and what you get is a messaging app that your friends have already signed up for. Why not try?

There's built in chat in the Facebook app, been that way for a while now guys...granted their notifications aren't working right for most people but the chat works just fine.
side note: are they gonna fix multi-quote on these boards soon? some problem with ad-block?
Could one of you share the apk, it's telling me a dumb error like my phone is not compatible and does the same for the official facebook app ....

I tried this but the notifications arnt working. I've enabled all alerts, light sound vibrate but when I receive a message there's nothing. I have to go to the app to know i got one

you can pull them down using json works but is a pain or just use the facebook sdk simpler but makes ur apk larger

I'm not technically inclined to develop a xposed module, but was using the 8sms app. I loved it since it mixes stock sms with cyanogenmod, but doesn't display FB contact pictures , only googles or contacts on your phone who you've added a picture for. Is there any way a xposed module could be developed to enable 8sms to pull contact pictures from fb? Not necessarily a request as far as throwing it out there and gauging community feedback (although, yeah, this would free many of us from samsungs sms app and make 8sms more appealing). What do you think? Is this possible to do?
I should probably add I'm on android 4.2.2, stock Galaxy s4 for t-mobile and rooted. And yes, I'd flash cyanogenmod but I do need t-mobiles wifi calling do to zero coverage at home.
Any suggestions, comments, feedback, knowledge welcomed.

I should also add that the reason for 8sms is the sms popup feature and dashclock widget integration. I'm using glowfly right now, which is great, but looking for a all in one package.
