Until now i am waiting for about a month and I think nothing will happen

Trust me you don't want the dual boot just that trust me
Then why do you need dual boot if you have android 4.2.2 it's the latest Android OS it's the best usually we use dual boot to try another newer roms cause we love.both of them

I tried duel boot many times before and I liked it because of cyanogenmod I don't know why but i feel it is the smoothest thing i ever tried in my life even that my 4.2.2 is veryyyyyyyyyyyyy fast and smooth but still i love cyanogenmod But your comment will make rethink

this is a leak and hence in a testing stage yet. no kernel source released neither the full rom! so wait until the mid-june for official 4.2.2(not leak) to be released.

4.0.4 Rom?

Which roms for i777 are android 4.0.4 ?
I am having problem with ICS roms freeze and reboot when connected for about 15 ~ 20 min to Sony cat stereo via bluetooth.
Found out that there are several other people having same problem on i9100 and apparently only 4.0.3 based roms are causing problem. Fixed by installing 4.0.4 rom.
Now, I'm trying to find rom for i777 with android 4.0.4, but I only see "F1 GalaxyNexus Pure Galaxy Experience." I am having hard time installing it because it gives me error.
Are they any other rom with 4.0.4 ?
Otherwise, I will have to go back to gingerbread.

I'm sure there are several roms with 4.0.4, but most of the roms doesn't really show which version it has.
I found Foxhound, which I didn't like very much..

Tried FoxHound and AOKP.
I did not like both. I think I just am too used to TouchWiz and other samsung applications.
I just feel AOKP is not as easy to use.
Going back to Gingerbread for now. Wasted too much time on trying to make ICS work.
Let me know if there is any android 4.0.4 with close to stock feel. (TouchWiz)

If you are a power user, and take advantage of the extra features that something like aokp offers, you
Would appreciate it. If you just want something simple then yes stock is for you. Really it's personal preference. Good luck.

I don't remember or know for sure which TW-based ROM with ICS 4.04, search in the dev. section. If don't like them all, there should be an easy way to update the AT&T official ICS 4.0.4 ROM. All you have to do is flashing/re-flashing the stock ROM 4 times.
Note: you must perform it right at 4:04 for it to work though.

Ah I see.
I have settled with AOKP with APEX Launcher for now.
I still like TouchWiz better. It does lack advanced features of AOKP, but then I don't really need advanced features.
Hope official 4.0.4 comes out soon. (Unlikely, but one can hope..)

Well, I think there's a way in which we can eventually get a 4.0.4 sammy based rom on our i777.
See, if you go thru latest news on i9100's forum , you'll see that official 4.0.4 has been released for them.. so if we get a custom kernel (maybe siyah or Neak) that can support 4.0.4 for our phone.. then one can easily hailraise the i9100 4.0.4 based rom without much hustle...
but, it'd take few more days for this as custom roms based on 4.0.4 for i9100 are also not out yet.. nor many supported kernels.. but it definately would...
Hope this helps !!!

He was talking about official 4.0.4 and the answer is no. There will NOT be an official 4.0.4 for this device. They barely came out with 4.0.3 so its highly unlikely another release will happen

Well.. I never said that 4.0.4 is coming for i777 . I just said that there is a way to have almost exact experience with the way I mentioned and I'm not wrong there to answer his queries.
And as I recall, XDA is all about making things happen, if they are not gonna be done officially, doesn't it ???

[Q] Bluetooth Kernel for 4.0.4 Samsung

Hi All
Does anyone know of a working Kernel out atm for 4.0.4 Samsung roms as I need a kernel to release my ROM and since Mr. Siyah got his S3 he seems to have neglected the S2 community as his kernels are getting more unstable with every release
Sad though and I would have preferred to stay with Siyah for Portal Rom but is there anything out currently that's working with the new 4.0.4 roms that's not the default stock kernel and cause the wipe brick?
Been looking for days but maybe missed something.

CyanogenMod 10.1 becomes Officially Nightly

Just sharing the information I saw today in Google+:
Motorola Droid RAZR/RAZR MAXX (XT910) and Motorola Droid RAZR (XT912) are now officially supported by CyanogenMod Team.
As they said in this post, the developers who are porting this ROM to us joined the CM family.
You can see the Device page here:

Hope we all could enjoy it's stable release soon!

Per the web site: "This is for XT912 with stock ICS KERNEL ONLY!"
Awesome... hope they solve the bluetooth issue soon.
We'll likely see it stick to ICS Kernel only until a bit after the official Jelly Bean OTA, at which point you'll start to see dhacker and Hash switch things over permanently. I still can't believe that a new Motorola device is supported, much less one as locked down as Verizon has the CDMA version haha. Kudos to both dhacker and Hash for their hard work on all this.

Running this with the 20th March nightly on SS3.11. Wondering if anyone has been successful getting it working under BMM or if anyone has even tried with CWM? Happy it works under SS but kind of perfer the way BMM opperates and would like to give it a go... any thoughts ??
Many thanks,

Well, I'm using it at the moment, so the current kexec official builds definitely work with BMM
JFYI, the kexec official builds also work after performing the OTA JB EU update. Just removed SS3.11 saved root with OTA Root Keeper, Flashed (held breath) booted all good.. renabled root, reinstalled SS.. booted into recovery, selected by CM10.1, wiped cache and dalvic (a few times each for good measure) rebooted and away she goes... now I've got 4.1.2 Stock and CM10.1 4.2.2 under SS. Happy Days!
working fine with bmm.there are some issues.but it is good enough for daily use.:good:

[Q] Updatin Version and changing Rom

Hello everyone .
I don't know what to do . I am sitting a lot , trying to update my version (4.0.3) to 4.2.1. Also, i am looking for a stable Rom with working GPS.
Do i have to update my version in oder to put a Rom that based on a newer Version?
I got Ics Passion v13 with 3.1.10-ICS Passion Kernel.
I tried to update from Kies but it doesn't recognize my Phone (There is no option in the ICS ROM to put the USB connection in Kies mode )
I really need help - how to update the version and what Kind of Rom and Kernel are the bests in your opinion ?
Thanks for helping =]

You can try the new AOKP build. Vibrantmtd is once supported again instructions for installing the rom are listed in the thread...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2208126.
As far as GPS is concerned it is either a hit or miss...might work or it might not. Unfortunately I am not able to test it since my vibrant is bricked
But I can tell you that AOKP is an excellent rom I been using it for nearly a year now since I bought my Galaxy Nexus. It is far much better than ICS passion in every aspect. Never had any problems with it.
As for the kernel I can't really say which one I would recommend since I honestly can't ever recall flashing a kernel for my vibrant...I've always used the kernels that are included in the ROM(S).
Just remember to backup your apps...because you will lose them in the process since this is not an update...it is more of an upgrade(4.0.3 to 4.2.2).
Good luck and feel free to ask any more questions.

The ROM will update you straight to 4.2.2. I don't think you need to be on 4.1 to update or any other version for that matter. Just flash the ROM through recovery and you should be good to go. Good luck.

It depends on what your 'everyday using' means. For me this ROM works great. [ROM][Feb 18][4.4.2] I9300 AOSP NeatROM v3.1
There are still bugs in all 4.4 Roms and will be until Samsung release their official one (or we get a leak)

ok, thanks... I prefer stable to new. I will wait for the well working ROMs. Thanks for your responses
