[MOD][BOOTANIMATION] Looping ball. - Nexus 10 Themes and Apps

Found this cool gif I wanted as a boot animation. So I made one!
Here is the GIF in question (mind you I curved the blacks to be completely #000 so as to not look like an ugly square in the middle of our devices.)

To download, just click the instructions!
Be rooted
Open a file manager with root capabilities
Go to /system/media (or wherever your rom stores boot anims)
Paste it
I am not sure about permissions as I just install through Rom Toolbox since it's faster (except now I know about wireless ADB ._.), but mine are set as RWXR-XR-X (All on Read, First on Write, All on Execute, none on Special)
Happy animations!

[BOOT ANIMATION] Ubuntuish Android

I have always like the simplicity of the Ubuntu boot screen. This is a "replication" but with Android.
As always, I am not responsible for you lack of patience to read or your illiteracy that causes your phone to somehow stop responding.

Non-Flashable:
This file needs to goto your /system/media. Then you need to set permissions like this with Root Explorer
Flashable:
This file you drop on your sd card, boot into recovery, and flash zip from SD

nice cool.
Thanks!

[BOOT ANIMATION] Bug Droid

This animation was originally created by DTSPowaa http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ewdmNxwZGk
I just took the video and turned it into a boot animation.
I am not responsible for your impatience to read on how to properly set up a boot animation. So if something happens, your fault.
This is setup for 480x800 screens. If yours is different you can edit the DESC.txt to fit your screen.

After putting this in your /system/media folder, set permissions like this:
DOWNLOAD
Non Flashable
Flashable (Will not flash on 2.3.4 or higher, use the non-flashable and push)
Nice job man, I think I might use this for my boot screen.

[Bootanimation] Simple Dancing Android

Just a simple bootanimation I put together cause I don't like the Sprint part and figured why not share it. I didn't do a video cause this really didn't take that long to do. Has the standard Moto logo thing at beginning then instead of Sprint animation has a dancing Android. Here is a preview:

I did not create this animation. Credit goes to Yukfoo Animation Studios.
Use a file manager with r/w capabilities and copy to /system/media folder.
Thanks for this, I like it much better! Tried to add sound but couldn't seem to get it to work ... great without sound though!

Metropolis Boot Animation

Hey there, I made a boot animation of a scene from the movie Metropolis. This file may well work on other phones, the resolution is 540x540 in portrait mode. With a rooted device and a root browser place as /system/media/bootanimation.zip and set the permissions to be rw-r--r-- and you should be good.

Note: it animates a little faster than this gif.

Well don't be too scared, they were just people making a movie. Bruce Sterling found a production image from the filming:

[Bootanimation] Google Buckyball

Hey people,
I put together this slick boot animation based on Google's special logo dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of the Buckyball.
Although I made it for my GN2, it's in zip format and not flashable, so what you need is a ROM with bootanimation.zip support (CM10/AOKP do this by default, Samsung ROMs need hacks). Install it with a root-enabled file explorer or with a boot animation changer such as this one.
See preview below - it's smaller than the 720x1280 animation on the phone, but it should give you a pretty good idea.
