just got it today and the play store is lagging a lot and its slightly annoying. anyone else having this issue?? i tried clearing data and cache. any suggestions ?
I'm getting unusually slow download speeds from the Play Store over WiFi (my other Android devices are fine on the same network). Cleared cache and data as well, but still slow. All other network-related speeds are excellent on the tablet.

I keep getting errors from play store saying "Connection Timed Out". It's been happening all day and it happens on 3G or Wifi. Anybody else having this problem. I noticed Youtube was acting up too. It lost my account info and I was getting connection errors. Everything else seems to be working fine like the browser and other apps that use data.
I haven't used play store much today but it's fine the times I have used it

Play Store is not letting me DL apps. It starts the download, but never finishes, it just stays at the DL part. Cleared Data and signed back in, same problem. This is new today, as I used it yesterday and it was fine.
Edit: just tried to play a video from Youtube and it wont DL either. Must be a Google problem??
Play Store seems to be working fine on my phone, but when I go to download an app via my laptop it gets stuck on 'Loading device compatibility'
Looks like it's most likely a Google issue and not the phones. I'll monitor it. Hopefully they get it all sorted out soon.
I noticed this the day I bought the phone.
It's really annoying when I've got app updates. If I click on the batch update button to update multiple apps, it won't complete unless I stay on the update page and keep the phone from going to sleep. Otherwise, the first app will update and the rest will stall on "downloading". This happen pre and post root.
Very annoying.

I figured I'd post a trick I've found to get the Wi-Fi / Data icon blue again if it's sticking on gray.
Everything I've read says the phone has to have a connection to Google Play Services servers for it to turn blue. The only causes I can come up with would be ad blockers, DNS issues or firewall issues.
But thinking about it I also thought more about the Play Services thing. So the first thing I tried was going into Settings/Apps/all & clearing the data on both Google Play Services & the Play Store and also uninstalling their updates if there are any on either.
The effect of clearing data on the Play Store is you'll get the agreement prompt again which is no big deal and the Play Store seems to update itself back to the latest version within a minute or so.
Last resorts- if you have any of the blocking apps see if they're causing it by uninstalling & a reboot.
Finally, troubleshoot DNS
Hopefully the first 2 options fix it. It isn't a big deal if your connectivity works but if if it's a concern that's how I fix it now.
I figured I'd pass it on
Hello. As I mentioned in the title, I have an orange wifi and mobile connection icon for a few days. Sometimes it turns back white, but the issues are still there. Internet works, but Google Play Store says "No connection" or connects and gets stuck at "Downloading" app (downloading new app or even updating current app). Also, some apps have trouble connecting, some of them (i.e. Google Chrome, Skype, Facebook) work perfectly with no issues.
I tried:
-Rebooting many times. Rebooting to safe mode - same issue.
-Stopping app & deleting cache and data from: Google Play, Google Play Services, Download Manager, Google Services Framework.
-Uninstalling all updates from Google Play Store. After that, it did not update itself.
-Checking hosts file - everything is ok.
-Removing and adding my Google account.
-Restarting the router.
-Booting into recovery and wiping Dalvik, Cache.
These issues have never happened before. I think it's something with google apps/services, but none of the above fixed it.
I have Samsung Galaxy S3 mini running CM 11 (Kitkat 4.4), rooted. (It worked for a long time without any issues)
Anyone has any ideas? Have you encountered this problem before? I don't want to do the factory reset, but I think it's the only option.
Hi guys so I have recently been having some wifi issues with my s7. My wifi doesn't ever get over 1mb/s and it's not just the speed test apps fault. All apps and we pages load extremely slowly. My tab s2 gets 27mb consistently. I have cleared the cache, restarted and used "wifi fix" apps all too no avail. Any ideas?
Hi! I am not sure if this is the same wifi bug that everyone is reporting. But please hear me out. I have been using my RN9s for over 2 months now. No issues whatsoever. Then yesterday I picked up my phone connected to my wifi then showed me this notification "This wifi network has no access to the internet". The weird part is that I can get online with every apps in my phone except for gaming app that requires internet connection and I am unable to update and download any apps from playstore. Here are the steps I did to try and fix the issue. Restart phone, power off completely, clear cache for playstore and apps that are not accessing internet and master reset the device. I did ask friends and workmates who are using the same ISP and they dont encounter any issues like mine. Restart, power off completely and master reset my modem/router as well but to no avail. Any thoughts? Thank you!
