are you using the correct sbf file for your carrier? are you using the sbf file that matches the stock version you had prior to unlocking the bootloader?

i just copied and pasted your last post and ran a search on it. here's a solution
Solved !
1. Copy Radio image (baseband) to the folder where located fastboot. 2. Power on phone and select fastboot 3. execute: fastboot flash radio bp.img, Where bp.img baseband image files 4. execute: fastboot reboot 5. Phone automatically boot on the android recovery mode 6. Wipe userdata/cache 7. Reload in RSD mode 8. on the RSD lite browse appropriate .sbf file and puch Start
Thats all.
This makes sense, since there was a radio update since the sbf files have been out

Not to be a jerk, but how do you have 243 posts and not understand the "search" function? There are like 5011 threads about this EXACT subject already. You can either download the 2.1 update file from HTC, or, if you have truly sent your phone back to completely stock, the OTA should show up in a while. You can also "Check for Updates" from the settings menu. That worked for me the last time I took one back to stock.
Settings > About Phone > Check for Updates. That should give you the 2.1 OTA if my understanding is correct that you are on 1.5 stock.
OK update:

Boot into fastboot by holding down the red and green buttons first and then do that command. Or not. I don't know.
Check the tools folder to make sure it has fastboot. I know the windows sdk has it but it may be a seperate dl for Mac

if your fastbooting stock recovery on your phone put it in the tools folder of adb
and then fastboot, it will send it to the phone and then flash, hope this helps.

I did that's why I'm confused
Read this post and see if this will help, I believe I used this RUU with driver to unroot my phone.
If I remember correctly it also gives you the s-on bootloader

If you have the boot.img file, you should be able to flash it by booting into fastboot and using
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Do not flash a different file this way though!

i guess you need to edit the original boot.img and compile the patches you made in that and repack it then flash.

That's because the new hboot cannot flash kernels. Easiest method is to download flashgui from the market which will flash the kernel for you.
Thanks for the quick response... so all i need to do is download the app flash a kernel and then flash the rom through twrp???

5. Make sure "kernel image" is selected
6. Make sure both caches are selected
7. Then hit "flash image"
8. You will be prompted to reboot

I'm having the same problem, except I've already wiped my rom so I can't load anything up to go into the market. what should I do? I'm on Hboot 2.09, I've got twrp 2.4.4.0 on there.

Do you have ADB set up on your computer?
The advice is free....the bandwidth, not so much

Download a rom to your computer. Place the rom.zip in the folder where you have adb. Also, extract the boot.img in the same folder. Open adb on your computer using command line and boot into fastboot on your phone. Use the cd command to change folders to wherever your adb is located and type adb devices to make sure you are connected. Then type fastboot flash boot boot.img. Once you do that you can push the rom zip using a different command that I forget. Even better than reading my response, search Google for "flash boot rom fastboot evo 4G lte" there's an xda thread that walks you through it.

[Q] Jelly Bean FLASH FAILURE!! AAAH!

Well, I feel like there's no way out of this one.... I updated to JB on my XT912 about a few months ago and now I got a flash failure. I can't use RSD Lite or RazrUtility because they don't work with JB. What do I do???!!!! AHhhhhhhh!!
you have to use fastboot (not rsd) to flash ICS system.img, recovery.img, preinstall.img, then boot into recovery and flash jb update zip.

Thank you so much for the reply. So how do I install them without rsd?
Google for motorola-fastboot.
Extract ics images from zip with firmware and use commands:
fastboot flash preinstall preinstall.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img

okay thanks a lot!! If you can send me a link of the zip that contains the images that would be great. Thanks again.
The process did not work. My phone still has a flash failure. Shouldn't I use the JB Images instead of the ICS Images? What do you think I should do? Thanks.
there are no jb images yet. only ICS images and jb update zip.
did you run fastboot commands? did it flashed images? or you have low batt error?
after success flash you should be able to boot into recovery and flash jb update

how do I do that? I couldn't figure out what to do after getting on the fastboot screen on my phone. Sorry I'm a noob.
When you download the zip file extract it. Next take out the battery and make sure device manager is up.
Plug in the phone without the battery. This is tricky... You need to double click on the new device and install the OMAP fastboot drivers located inside the extracted folder.
Now you know how to enter fastboot! Take out the battery, run start, plug in the phone when prompted, then flash ICS u and x.
