Are you using an E970 kernel?

I took your advice and flashed mystery emotions kernel and still no luck i dont even have an option in storage to mount sd if i sent you the zip would you be willing to take a look everything works perfect except for this. Im not sure if it is because the e975 doesnt have external storage and i have to edit something. Thanks in advance

Follow the little guide at the end of the op.

Simple framework edit that was used for N4 conversions. Should work the same to get the SD card working. If ya can't figure it out (took me a while) upload the framework-res.apk on here and I'll fix it up for ya.

i always back mine up on the internal sd card andhave a rom in there just in case..others may do it differently, but there are many options recovery allows you to download from pc via usb... but its better to always have a back up on your internal card in my opinion.. because in some cases you can lose access to the external sd card..just my opinion..just remember to take your time and read/follow instructions VERY carefully!!!
sd card
if you dont have room on internal sd card..then yes get an external sd card(you should always have one) and move some stuff over like media..etc

You might be misunderstanding on the sd card, you have an internal sd the phones drive, this is where I put my ROMs to flash. The external sd that you can put into the phone is or can be your backup, I use an external meaning I can remove it, this is where I put my backups of items.
I only use the built in drive internal sd for storage of my ROMs to flash. There are lots of video on this subject, just do a youtube search on the subject.
While we are at it, if you are on a computer check my links in my signature, I have a {General information and Helpful Tips} section for some good reading and the GNote Super page also for all your flashing needs. And you can PM me or just keeping posting lots of good folks around that will help.

Honestly, you need to use the search function. Read everything you can. If you have to ask if you're wrong, you're wrong about something. I know you don't like to hear this, and I also know you don't want to ruin your device. If you don't take the time to read and research, you won't understand the Rom that you flash anyways thus leading to more questions from you that can be solved by searching and you will only annoy the developers and ruin things for everyone because you developed bad habits of wanting things dropped in your lap. No one is here to hold your hand through the process when there's a wealth of information at your fingertips. All of the people that have accomplished flashing their phones have done so without a thread like this begging for a walkthrough. With all due respect, follow the rules because nobody is responsible for damage to your phone, but yourself.
Finally got the rom installed and working...just restoring my apps and data....but it's asking for permissions to install apps for each app...I'm using titanium backup app...thanks a lot u guys...(who ever helped)

Having to ask someone to use the "thanks " button is like a youtuber telling you to "thumbs up my video".. if someone does or doesn't do it it shouldn't really matter especially here..

I wasn't asking them to thank me. I was reminding them to thank those who helped them. You would know that if you read as per the forum rules. You know what else is part of the forum rules? Using the thanks button. Imagine that. Perhaps you should spend less time trolling me and spend more time watching the Official XDA Welcome video. Seems like you still need it. I'll link it for you so you don't have to search. Don't forget to use the thanks button!

[Q] CM-10.2 Swap SD help?

Hey guys! Thanks for taking a look at my question!
To start off I'd like to say sorry if I misplaced this thread.
Ok so last night I flashed TeamChopsticks' CM-10.2 ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Exhilarate. If you have this phone, you'd know that is only has 1.12GB internal storage and 1.40GB internal SD space.. So, like on my last ROM, I decided to swap my SD cards- but for some reason in my build.prop file I didn't find anything that has to do with the SD swapping. I've checked to see if I have a vold.fstab and don't, so I'm guessing it should be in my build.prop. Please help? I don't know what I'm doing wrong.-.
Anything would be appreciated!
Bump O Updated title :3

I have a previous post that might be of use LINK. Definitely don't flash the zip itself though as your build prop will be different.
Lol thanks! It actually didn't work though *thanks anyways*

beginner :(

As most of you I have the same problem with my SD card. I started "playing" with my phone yesterday....
I have Xperia Neo V and i installed today CyanogenMod. - It looks fine but ... no apps. Furthermore I tried to create partitions over my SD card with
MiniTool Partition Wizard. I tried to install the Jelly Bean, but I get the message that sd card cannot be mounted. Can somebody help me with details over the procedure? (download links and steps)
Thanks in advance
I think the instructions are too fuzzy for me ...
Hi @spirto82 you originally posted your question into a HTC One S thread, so I moved your post into the proper device forum.

I think you've created a wrong file system while partitioning. Mind elaborating what file system did you select while making the partition?
