I got the animation stills from djsnake210.
And xessus wrote a nice tutorial on how to make the QMG animation using Samsung's free Theme Designer software.
I might make some more, depends on how long until we get a custom rom I'm satisfied with...

I'll get this fixed when I get home tonight. It would appear that I uploaded apks from an unrelated project. These are actually cyanogen / aosp apps - the pics below are correct to what I uploaded though. These are ported from the Nexux S CM7.
I was bored this morning so I started porting the Nexus S Apps to the Vibrant. These are actually the cyano/aosp apps ported to Nexus S and then ported to Vibrant.
There really isn't much that is special about these, just another option.
I'm off to work in a few minutes so here are a couple. I will add to this OP more as they are done.
Here are the Nexus S MMS and Music player - I have not yet added lockscreen support to music player.
Using adb or root explorer, push these to system/app - to be sure you can go back to your stock apps if you want you should rename your existing mms.apk to mms.apk.bak and musicplayer.apk to musicplayer.apk.bak

i like it. anyway you can speed up the loading bar? it just looks too slow IMO, my atrix is blazing fast on boot up
I love it! Just a suggestion, would it be possible to make the loading bar have an 8-bit look as well? In addition to the original version, of course.
Will do both of those! This is just a first draft of course.
What do you think of an 8-bit M. Logo as well?
If you want to speed it up yourself take it apart open desc.txt and change the 6 to something higher

for anyone interested i uploaded a new version with a major bug fix
Because I love Transformers I continue to make themes and mods Transformer orientated. This is a boot animation made from a stop animation video that YouTube user "asiguido" made http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCGAzj-tRpI&list=FLciMRQ-of Megatron turning into Galvatron in the Transformers movie of 1986. (Everyone should check out his awesome video). It is a flashable zip. Download and flash through recovery. Below is a animated gif I made, so you can preview the boot animation prior to downloading. It is not the exact spped of the boot animation, but close. Also there is a video of me previewing it in a boot animation previewer on my desktop, since I didn't have a camera on hand to record it booting on my phone. Hope you enjoy. Please if you like it, hit the thanks. I got like 20 different themes and mods on XDA with a lot of downloads and no thanks. Help me out . thank you.

Hey this is really great, thanks! I just have one problem: I flashed the file you provided but all it did was change the boot logo. I'm not sure if that's a problem on my end with procedure or ROM or what, but I would really like the animation too. If it matters, I'm using CWM Touch and am on MIUI V4 alpha 2.

Weird. Might be because of MIUI's theme association with the boot animation.
Well I'm going to make a new version anyways some time.
In the mean time just unzip it and move with root explorer the bootanimation.zip file into /system/media with excact same permissions as the old one.

Here's 11 anonymous pokemon wallpapers I found (that had permission to be used) that were fairly carefully rescaled for the Rezound.
I tried to trim them at a few points to prevent stretching and keep the original quality.

in theory all of them are with 1440(width)x1280(height) ~ 1440 to support the stretch of scrolling
but it still requires trimming them to some extent when you go to apply it oddly enough (which doesn't take away the whole image but is still annoying)
i'll try to resize some of the deviant art's that are popular =)
