Hey there !
any explnation ? may i wipre the extSdCard ? it seems to be a clone of the internal card, because there are the same folders and files in both cards and when i upload a file o one i found it in the other one !!

The explanation is in my signature - 4.2 and sdcard
Edit... I have misunderstood the problem.
It is like you have a script binding the 2 together. Maybe best to ask kryten

Here you go, I made this for when I tried LSJ on my phone. I have attached a CWM flashable zip and the edited vols.fstab file if you want to push it or copy it over with a root explorer. Just rename the vold.fstab.txt file to vold.fstab, XDA wouldn't let me upload an attachment with the .fstab extension

Not external SD card, it allows swapping the inbuilt 16GB memory and whatever SD card you have in the MicroSD slot so the phone sees the microSD card as the first point of storage, allowing you to use up to 64GB memory for game data download etc.

Samsung make this phone with internal storage USB storage and sd card but all the app files go to USB which is 12 gb. When playing Gameloft games which take around 2gb each it fills quickly so if you have a big sd card you can make the phone see the sdcard as usb

Did you flash the lsj zip? And weird i used it on lsj neat rom so its definitely working...
Download the void.stabf.txt , remove the .txt extension and put it to system/etc then replace existing vold.stb

[Q] Can I restore apps straight to new partition using Titanium backup?

I have decided to upgrade to ICS after playing with rooted GB for a while. I don't want to use App2SD anymore to overcome the memory limitations of my Neo V, so I've decided to partition my SD card and link any app (link2SD) I install to this partition (1 GB). Is there a way for me to restore my backedup apps straight to the new partition instead of restoring to the phone's memory before using link2SD to move the apps?
All you need to do is to 'auto link' the partitioned card and Link2SD will automatically link apps titanium tries to restore to the SD Card

[Q] [q] Swapper for root can't see external SD card

Hi all, first post here after watching the forum for a long while now.
I got a brazilian galaxy s3, rooted it and installed Swapper for root.
The problem is that the app can't see my SD card - a 32 gb one. I can see it in 'My files', and all of its contents, but the app can't.
I'd like to create the swap file in there since it has lots of free space, while my internal memory, which the app can see, is almost full.
I am using stock rom, 4.1.2.
Thanks in advance.
On play it says you need to usr a kernel with swap support. Are you?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
Thanks for the quick response.
As I said, I am using stock rom. I believe it supports swap as I can create the swap file in the internal memory.
It just doesn't see the external SD card - or is not giving me the option to select it.
There's no swap support in the stock kernel. A swap file is just a file. It doesn't become swap until later. You can create files without swap support

So that means it will create the swap file, but it wont really "swap" the memory?
The only solution for that would be to install a custom ROM?
Thank you.
its probably best to discuss with the app dev. But a kernel like perseus or siyah may have the support you require

Galaxy s2 have partitioned storage 2gb for apps 11gb for storage... other phones have only 1 partition named userdata
If you are running low on space try moving apps to sdcard ... setting , application, select 1 app , move to sdcard
