Hi am new in this samsung galaxy s players. Well the thing is i dont know that version i have 5.0,4.2,4.0,3.6 and i dont know were to see this information in the player. Well you should have a intl YP-G1 then. And colombian YP⁻G1 do exists AFAIK. (but they don't offer support for it anymore I think or something like it)

Hello, how are. Well tell them that I'm brand new to android so I know understand, if this happen to some other thread, just let me know. It turns out that a few weeks ago to buy a mobile named: HDC Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 mtk6588 to 1.4ghz, 1g ram, 8gb rom, 16 gb sd, 8mpx cam, 2mpx front cam, 4.8 inch lcd. The truth is a great phone for me at least a passing Omnia 2 has this. The point is that as desconosco were unaware even android and I wanted to root as the play google told me he had updates for some applications, at that time I did not know use SuperSU benia already installed, and I had no better idea to follow a statute root of this type of phone, but for mtk 6575-6577. and so I did, the point is that now tells me I have 480 MB RAM and 1GB, 2GB rom and 8GB, 2GB sd and 16gb ARMv7 processor (VFPv3, Neon), and not a mtk 6588. Wifi does not work, or the camera or bluetooth, if the 3g and data. I learned to use the tool and flash recovery mode, I tried as much ROM for this type of mobile found, of course whenever with mtk6575 but the flash tool or update. zip I get errors. Firmware for Mtk6588, there is on the web at least I did not find it. It is not more to do, so I turn to you to see if there is a solution, or simply lost mobile. Sorry first if I have put this in the wrong thread but wasn't sure where to ask for help.
Well I currently a nexus 4 owner coming from iPhone 4. I always been a android man just gave iPhone ago.
My wife lost her iPhone 5 so she wants take my beloved nexus. Now I would say no you carnt have it but everybody knows its not that easy.
I have a £100 budget maybe scrape a tiny bit more like £120. But no more then that really.
I would like to get a phone with similar fire power to the nexus and with great dev support for custom roms.
I've seen a few Chinese branded phones with quad core cpus but not sure which one will have great support for on here.
Any advise and where I can buy from will be much appreciated.

In China, Huawei cell phone quality is very good.
£ 100 to buy a good phone with some difficulty.
For a cheap phone, I think the Huawei G300 is pretty nice. You've got a team of developers working on Cyanogenmod for it, as well. It's the best price / performance phone in your budget range. However, it doesn't seem really that compareable to the Nexus 4 (which is great), but there's not much else you can do with your budget!

Had this phone but it went faulty, sent it back and the seller is messing about and I think probably being ripped off. Hasn't picked it up from the sorting office, or refused delivery

I have "Rom Oficial Jiayu.es 20130720-000003" in both G3S and G4 Basic. Haven't use them much, but everything tested (phone/sms/wifi/camera) works and they are stable.
I also have the latest update, everything is working fine... I will try some custom roms from spain or russian forum...
I ordered the G3S too, anything I should have in mind?

I there a way to applies language that is not on the list of the language menu?
I need pl menu, I use English but it would be nice to use my homeland language.

does this HDC phone really have 18 MP? I think it's only a interpolated camera. Anyway I don't think those HDC phones do have a good quality.

This list is an embarrassment. All these phones are rip-offs of phones from HTC, Samsung, Apple and LG. Why don't you try promoting some phone companies from China that doesn't cater to the stereotype view of the Chinese people (that the Chinese just copy and make fake versions of everything)? Phones from Xiaomi and Oppo for example are also quite cheap, have original designs and have genuinely good quality. In fact, the Xiaomi Mi3 is FAR more powerful than the JiaYu G5 for roughly the same price.
THL T100S is best smartphone, China's first eight-core mobile phone, will be officially sold in the January 10, I've been on thlmobilestore com site to buy one.

Actually, the Jiayu G5 retails for around $299 whereas the Mi3 is around $330. Of course, depending on where you get them from, the price difference will be different but the Mi3 is definitely not DOUBLE the price of a Jiayu G5.

It looks pretty much as an Iphone 5 but not really it is bigger.
Beside the GPS function , a lower volume speaker , a weaker vibration function and the flashlight wich u better
use only as a torch , pitty for the 13 MP rear camera ( I am not sure if its not software enhanced , it doesent look as a 13 MP lens )
I can say this device is aswome. Does not have full support on duals SIM but works great with redirection and CallWaiting between SIMs.
As far as I know Jiayu has a little factory who didn't copy but just build their own brand.
The G5 is very fine also from design..

Camera is OK for me, guy. Video capturing and playing is smoth. Great camera.
Jiayu G5S (Octacore) is best smartphone for me.
Using it fortwo weeks.
Great specification. Great performance.

There are a few ROMs that are lollipop based. Try temasek or JustArchi's one on the ROM section. They work great.

No and it wont ever be. That is because Grand prime uses completely different SOC (Snapdragon 410) than our S3. (Exynos 4412) And probably also different proprietary chips like modem, GPS, wifi, audio dac, accelerometer, etc.
With Note 2 it was possible because they have similar internals (Same Exynos SOC) which is not the case here.
