Hello xda,
I am having some troubles with my Samsung Galaxy player 5.0, when I try to add my google account to the android it takes a very long time then claims I'm not connected to the Internet, keep in mind I am using this at school but it normal works fine :L

I've switched Roms a few times, so now when I try to play my google music it tells me 8 devices have been connected using my email. And it tell me to deactivated one. I'm the only one who uses it and it was working fine til this last flash. Any ideas how to fix that?

interesting. i hadn't heard of this issue before but a quick google search lead me to this thread which has a seemingly logical solution/directions: Music Beta by Google: A Must Read For All Root Users!. i haven't tested it personally but it seems very feasible.
to summarize the answer from the post linked above:
Just log into the desktop version of Music Beta by clicking here, go into settings, and then you'll see a place to manage your devices. Just remove the multiple device entries from the list, and then... presto!

i'll have to check my own account for this as i would imagine any android user who wipes their /data often when switching ROMs might run into this issue.

World maths day coming up soon and the organisers have kindly made an android app.
It seems to be available only from Samsung apps.
As a non-Samsung user i was hoping somebody here could download said app and upload the apk. It is a free app so i hope it wouldn't be breaking any rules.
If this is breaking rules, then i apologise in advance.

Thanks for trying. I can get it to load but for some reason the app is off centre and you can't move it Anyone get it fully working?
Edit. My fault this is 2012- anyone got 2013?

It works great except for in driving mode if you try to navigate it will force close.

location settings is way off. I'm asking where restaurants are near me Anna keeps giving me restaurants near my work. If I ask where I am it tells me I'm at my office 15 miles away. I uninstalled the update. Went back to original settings. Re ask the same questions and got the same results. I checked Google now and it worked flawlessly from my exact location. S voice needs a lot of work.

You're also running an apk not made for your device. It may depend on other apps/resources that you don't have installed.
I'm a big s-voice hater, but I don't think you can judge the new version based on what you have.

Samsung turned off their server for the new site voice, they did a similar thing when the s3

I can confirm that Samsung turned off the server because I had it on my S3 over a week ago and it worked. They got wind it was being used and pulled the plug til release.
Any word on new camera apk and keyboard apk also would love to c eye scroll on our beloved note 2

I saw a thread that had the keyboard apk, just search for s4. I would do it to post the link but I'm on my phone and we all know how useful the search function is on the app

If you would read the few posts of this thread, samsung turned off the server. To get the old one back re flash your rom.

I did read that and I have flashed from beans build 11 to 12 and I still have the s4 s voice
Should be able to just pull the old apk from another Rom, uninstall the current one and install the Note 2 version.

Hi!
I can't connect to the new services of Google Play Games with any games, I tried SuperStickMan Golf 2 and some more and all are left with a white screen (loading) until the sign in fails ("unknown error" for example).
I have Hangouts running (that use the newest version of Google Play Services) and a Google+ account linked to the google phone account.
Have a International rooted Galaxy Note 2 with Android Revolution v17.
Anyone else with this problem?

EDIT: A Wipe Data and flashing new ROM (Wanam) fixed the problem temporarily.
But right now I still can't access any other game. Only StickManGolf is still working with Google Play Games functions, although I clear data WTF!!
And the worst is that I find no information about this problem
This wont help at all but im running wanam's n7105 version of his rom on my phone and i logged in successfully with riptidegp and world of goo and i didnt have hangouts installed but i did install the game service from android headlines. So they do work i guess

I'm wondering if they are blocking rooted phones from logging in? Cause everyone that I've seen that doesn't have any issues are the people with stock phones.

Even if that was the case, I'm in Atlanta, Ga so that wouldn't be the problem. This is aggravating.

Now the only issue is that I can't invite anyone to play, only random player shows up. But on my girls phone she can invite me and everyone else.

Finally got a solution if it doesn't let you pick your friends on the player list, I emailed them and they gave me the answer. For some reason the game isn't seeing your circles, but I believe I've found the solution.
First, log in to Google+ on your computer. In the upper left area of the screen you'll see the "Home" button. Hover your mouse over it and a window will slide into view from the left. Select "Settings" at the bottom. Next, scroll down to "Apps" and select "Manage Apps". In the white box, hover your mouse over PBA Bowling Challenge, then click on the Pencil icon that appears to the right to "Edit App". Select "Advanced Connection Settings". A window should pop up showing you all the circles that the game can see, so you can select to add your circles from here. Please note that it might take a little while for the changes on the website to show up in the game.
I've given my son my s2 after upgrading to the s4 but he only uses it for learning apps and games but he has noticed the group play feature on the s4 and is really interested in one of the built in games so now my phone is always targeted each day.
I'm wondering if anyone has come across a rom that has the group play for the s2?
I've searched quite a few of the 4.2.2 roms but not found any or maybe just plain miss read and missed it. If anyone has noticed any roms containing group play (hopefully someones managed to port it) could you please give a link....in the meantime I'll keep searching each day

Thanks. I did find that last night aswell but also getting the FC soon as I try group play. I read through google and apparantly its only on 4.2.2 so I might flash my sons phone tonight and try it again if I can find a stable enough rom
