Read the stickies and you will find a guide. Anyway there is never a 100 percent chance of not bricking...

Foolproof none .
Most risky for those that want to root and dont know why or how and are to lazy to read the faqs and guides .
PhilZ or TWRP root and recovery .

Sir I have an old lg p500 which I rooted using gingerbreak
But that one soft bricked on thr first attempt and cost about rs 600 to repair
Now with this s3 im hesitant because it will cost rs 6000 to repair and my dad wont give me that kind of money to repair it
Thanks anyway!

Than don't do it
Agree don't root unless you are prepared to buy a new phone .
Nothing is 100% risk free .

@OP - I'd better not see you bump a post after 9 minutes on here ever again :-/
I'm not interested in how important you think your issue is, this is not your personal tech support forum. When you make a thread, you wait patiently for an answer. Bumping your thread after not getting an answer within 9 minutes is a good way to have people ignore you (which the person who did answer you should have done to make the point).

hey buddy, u r new to all this rooting and flashing thats Ok.
and also ur interested in knowing more about the same thats also fine.
but ur handicapped with just ur phone to do everything, which is not good.
since u need a computer and internet connection, so that in case if something goes wrong while doing things on ur phone, at least u can get help via PC from XDA or google to resolve ur issue.
hence my advice to u is, do please get hold of a pc with net, may be a friend of u might help with the same.
also u have to do some probing on XDA regarding
1) how to root my phone?
2) what is downld mode and recovery mode? etc
hope u understand for now
I was going through threads on rooting, ROMs, kernels and bricking. Before reading threads about bricking I wanted to root my phone but after reading I got scared of bricking my phone which I think is difficult to debrick (unbrick).
Is it really the case that we cannot debrick the phone at home? Is it ok to root with such a consequence?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
All I can say is if you're that worried about it, don't root your phone or flash anything. Leave it on stock & enjoy it.
Is it possible to change ROM without rooting the phone?
And what are the chances of bricking the phone while rooting? And if bricked what is procedure to make it as earlier

use this to root your S2...It is 100% risk free. However use only if u are on ICS
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1501719
Also, read everything before u flash a rom/kernel..95% of them get bricked without reading or consulting properly

I read it, but I didn't not find anything written as it won't brick the phone. So just wanted to confirm even if I made any mistake, it won't brick my phone, right?

i was trying to root my SGS2 using this method but i never found file CWM.zip file in the "apply updates from external storage" options. i tried to moving it to sdcard (main folder), creating a folder in sdcard and by moving it to folder android under sdcard (which is visible in those options) but couldn't find CWM.zip file. i use volume up + home key + power button to go to recovery mode.
plz help me regarding that why i couldn't find that file
Done with rooting.

no spoonfeeding allowed!
Half the adventure of modding your device is learning and understanding how. If you don't understand something than you probably shouldn't do it. Read over and over again and if it helps use Google to get a better understanding.

What do you mean by one click? Make sure you have gt-i9300 version. Here's the link for the latest cf root. It is easy to install. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1695238
+1 CF-Root is the best and safest rooting method for the International I9300 Galaxy S3.
There are toolkits out there but I'd not recommend using them.
In fact many people reported issues wïh them and needed to manually recover from softbricks which are further complicated by the fact that they didn't know what exactly went wrong

Hey guys,I hope to solve my problem.I read threads regarding this but couldnt understand.
So here it is,I got a micromax A87 phone a month ago, then I rooted it.I removed the manufucturers RAM hungry apps.Everything was fine, but from yesterday on call(both incoming and outgoing) I cant here the voice, but they can hear mine.Though I can hear them on speaker and headphone.
So now I want to give to company service center so what should I do?
1.Flash the phone with custom rom or
2.Unroot and install all those preinstalled manufacturer apps
I would like to do the second method. So my question is in which method I can fake that device was not rooted so I can reclaim my warranty? suggest if there is another method and how does the manufacturer come to know if i rooted the phone?
Try a factory custom rom. Then remove root. Most manfacturers dont care though.

Unroot your phone and give it to service center.
Sent from my GT-I9003 using xda premium
There are two solutions
1.you could find another member with your phone and get the apps that you deleted and unroot and give it to service!
Or
2. You could flash stone random rom and brick you device completely and give it back to service saying that it won't start up and hope they don't find out!
Personally I'd suggest you go for 1
