I just got my M8Pro 3G tablet from PiPo with default APN setup for using AT&T.
Name: ATT
APN: broadband
Proxy: Not Set

Username: [email protected]
Password: cingular1
Server: Not Set
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication type: Not Set
APN Type: default,supl,mms
APN protocol - IPv4
APN enable/disable - APN enabled
Bearer – Unspecified
My problem is that it will only connect to the EDGE 2G network, which is way slow. The modem specs for this 3G tablet are as follows:
1. Standard SIM Card Slot
2. HSPA/WCDMA: 2100/900MHz
3. GSM/GPRS/EDGE Quad band: 850/900/1800/1900
4. Download maximum: 7.2Mbit/s
5. Upload maximum: 5.76Mbit/s
In working with AT&T Tech Support we find that the provisioning system can not ID the IMEI number. Therefore, no APN settings from AT&T.
I am thinking that if provisioning could be set up for some other similar tablet we might get this working properly. I have tried several APN setups but nothing will let me get beyond EDGE 2G.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This may seem a little simplistic, but I've made this mistake myself with previous phones..
Auto select network mode and auto select network operator.
Previously whilst abroad I had set to specify a certain network and therefore when I got home and switched phone on it could not would not connect till I remembered what I'd done.
Hope it helps and your Phone is fine!
Didn't work
Now I have 3G sign but no Internet
hey folks,
i have a rogers galaxy note and its unlocked.
I have the telus lte sim and the voice is working fine. data not so much.
do i have to change any settings?
It sounds like you'll need to set up your APN to the settings that works with Telus.
My Telus note uses sp.telus.com
would be able to take a screen shot of the access point settings. i wanna see the apn, proxy and so forth.
ohh and what network mode should i select?
its default to gsm/hspa/lte
thanks again

I have a Verizon S4 phone that I am trying to use with T-Mobile. MMS works but not until after I have made a phone call. I have to do this every time I restart the phone. 4g and phone calls seem to be working fine without having to do anything to get those going.
I am set to Global Network Mode and have these APN Settings:
APN: fast.t-mobile.com
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username : Not set
Password: Not set
Server: Not set
MMSC: http: / /mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS Proxy: Not set
MMS Port: 80
MMC: 310
MNC: 260
Authentication Type: Not set
APN Type: default,mms,supl
APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
Bearer: Unspecified
Mobile virtual network operator type: None
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get mms to start working properly without having to remember to make a phone call first after every restart?
I have the Xperia Z2 on Three UK and I bought it unlocked. 3G works fine but 4G doesn't, even when LTE only is selected and my friends on Three have full 4G signal it shows no service. 4G used to work on O2. My APN settings are correct. Any ideas?
LTE on 3 UK works fine for me, are you 100% sure you have 4G signal in your area with three? Have a check with this tool. Have you checked the "Use only 3G networks" option in mobile network settings?
Also, check your APN settings with my ones what I'll post.

It's working now I think you have to wait a few days after starting a new contract before 4g is activated.
I wanted to post this information in case anyone else runs into the same issue. I have a SM-G900T that was from T-Mobile which was unlocked and has been running on the Telus network. Currently running Android OS 6.0.1 (Marshmellow) using the Area 51 ROM huge thanks to malbert16442 for his work!
The issue is: voice, data and text messaging was working just fine, however I could not receive or send MMS messages. I found that the problem was both the APN list within the ROM as well as Telus's own APN settings did not work.
The solution was to clear the "APN Type" field!
Here's the APN settings I am currently using:
Name: TELUS (name is irrelevant)
APN: sp.telus.com
Proxy server: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: Not set
Password: Not set
Server: Not set
MMSC: (won't let me post the MMSC value, but its the generic Telus HTTP URL)

APN roaming protocol: IPv4

Mobile virtual network operator type: GID

Will this work/apply to the Cricket Wireless Network? i have the same exact problem, only I AM able to receive MMS, but not send it.
