Good to know would be what exactly you removed or where's the difference between the two roms

Good work.
Personally I do this to any rom I use by editing the rom zip package but wish more rom makers would make their roms lightweight and only install the bare minimum a rom needs to work and leave it up to users to add the apps/add ons they want to customize the rom how they want.
For now everyone other than xmp users will be getting status 7 error so please delete 3 lines given after checking device...all the assert lines and everything will work smoothly
Cheers,
AJ

Rom is fast, stable, has a LOT of customization options. But the standard hybrid mode is driving me crazy because of the size of the font. It can not be used even going for a walk, drive by car or by train. Completely unusable on such a small screen. I know I can turn hybrid mode off, but in this case I can use FXP. The dilemma can not be solved. I'm going to test it more, check the performance of daily tasks, battery, stability and usability. But I set the screen density of 120DPI.
Eagerly waiting latest CM 201 port

for this rom i get atlease 110MB free ram compared to CM10 which is around 75-90MB
and still the big issue for me is the battery drain even in this ROM.
keep up with your rom. i believe it will be one of the best roms after FXP will fix their bugs and the battery drain

Code:
V2 : Modified a little part of ramdisk.tar for make better the RAM management
V2 : Based on FXP223a
V2 : Modified "SmoothBean" script for make better scrolling
----------------------------------------------------
V3 : Add a kernel wich support oc 'til 1150 mhz
Guys, before flashing this, note that this rom IS NOT REALLY COMPILED FROM SOURCE, NO LINARO TOOLCHAIN USED SO!Just open build.prop/kernel info and you'll see that the rom is built by fxp. He just took the fxp zip, deleted some apk/ringtones and relesead it!If you open performance scripts you'll see that are not made by him also! And no credit given/permission asked!
Edit: thread updated with correct description, thanks DMX :good:

I've posted it on 13th June, he edited the OP on 14th. Read first, then think and post
I'll also explain you why I said that: these are some screens of smoothbean for xperia P, but the same happened on XS,XU,XSola and XGo: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/850/screenshot2013061200414.png/ Kernel it's built by fxp, not by him.
And the build.prop is exactly the same as fxp 223: http://i.imgur.com/osTaE7u.png?1 100% impossibile when you build from source that you've the same build date, same name of computer...

Well I did nothing but removed all the things I thought was unnecessary(without harming the functioning of the phone) and decompiled some apks like keyboard, removed other languages and unnecessary stuff...packed it and then I was left with 78 MB
And since there are less apps, so less processess will be running in background..so it'll increase both performance and battery life.

Can you port it also to X10Mini and X10 MiniPro?
Thanks
Experiencing some lag. can you give me some tips to improve the responsiveness of x8?
Feedback:
Can't send files via bluetooth.
The Theme Chooser in Settings>Display
Sometimes when your clicking it doesn't respond. ex. when clicking the app. drawer it's not accurate so you will have to click more to open.
And when you turn on your phone from lock screen it doesn't turn on. you will have to click it twice.
But overall the design is excellent. I know CM10 has its bugs too.

What is the difference between AOSP and AOSX ?
We have integrated the follow features in AOSP :
BlueZ bluetooth stack
CyanogenMod's SuperUser
CyanogenMod's File Manager
CyanogenMod's BusyBox
OmniROM's Torch
OmniROM Recovery (TWRP)
OmniROM Music Player (Apollo)
OmniROM Equalizer (DSP Manager)
Google Play Store
Linaro 4.10 toolchain
Bugfixes
plus some hardware and development stuff. For more information check our local_manifest.xml.
Why don't you keep it pure AOSP ?
Because our goal is to provide a user friendly and clean ROM. We chose these applications because they are opensource and advertisement free.
I do not like some pre-installed applications, how I can delete them ?
If you do not like them, just uninstall them with a rooted uninstaller like Root Uninstaller.
Feature X is not working or applications Y is force closed, what can I do ?
Usually this kind of problem is due to dirty installation. Please wipe data, cache and dalvik cache.
I found a bug. How do I report it ?
Create a bug report on Bug Tracker and remember to attach a logcat, otherwise your report will be ignored. Also try to attach the log of only the relevant part.
Woohoo!

Wow, awesome! Pure Android!
Congrats to the team... and waiting for the new build with new changes to test....
I've downloaded this rom as it was released, too important to go to sleep . I want to share my first impression on this first morning with this rom. I installed all my apps, some of that restored with TB. The total usability and smoothness is astonishing, i've never see my sola go faster than this. It's even more amazing if you think that this V0 is marked as Alpha by the dev team. The only thing i changed was the system/etc/apns-conf.xml from Git that was updated after this build,in order to have my APN ready since the first boot.
I'm addicted to some CM features, so i installed GravityBox for KitKat and it's going all good as it hooks perfectly with this splendid AOSP
By the way, during the flashing procedure, i faced some problem on the new TWPR...The screen auto lock timeout setting is not working as expected, so you have to be very fast selecting the zip to flash (Sorry Devs, i tried to get a log out of that but i didn't make it ). Anyway, beside the GPS "bug", this rom is amazing!
Thanks Devs!
