Hey guys, long time xda user but never really bothered making an account and posting lol, but **** just got serious so I need some specific help. So I have been flashing roms almost since the first day I got this phone, never had a problem not even flashing ICS roms. But in this case, I was running [ROM] Blue 2.2 Frankenstein-FishmanMod Final and it was working perfect, had battery for days, no lag , and everything was smooth as usual. Then out of the blue, my vibrant decides to shutdown(no I still got plenty of battery left), so I wouldnt call this an infinite reboot because it doesnt reboot it just shuts down every time I turn it back on! It usually shuts down a couple of secs after I turn it on. And now im having a hard time even getting to CWM. I tried odin(multiple times) but no cigar, problem still persist. WTF . Does anyone know what I can do?
You could try to wipe everything if the phone dosent shutsdown, did you try using Heimdall(I think thats the name) and what especific problem you have with Odin?

My XPS shutdowns randomly after flashing to ICS. I had also rooted my phone with Locked bootloader But due to the problem faced by me i re-flashed with the stock ICS firmware but my phone still shutdowns randomly....
While shutting down It displays Android System and a dialog box which says shutting down please help......
To be precise:
My phone vibrates and turns off. In this days i realized that before vibrates it shows "Android System" and "Shutting down" dialog . that is not cause of battery low. it happened with 70%, 100% battery as well.
that is a 'problem' i've had since i got my xperia arc 2, 3 or 4 times a month it crashes and reboots. i never found out what the problem is/was. i was always rooted.

Maybe this will help. Let us know
My GB firmware used to crash every 2 days or so, forcing a reboot as if battery was removed. It also existed on custom roms. Now after 1 month of ICS usage, I never ever crashed, never had a FC in any app except one time with Facebook app, which is crap
guys i tried repairing the firmware and after repairing 7 days later the problem has started once again ....
So i decided to flash back to GB but after flashing i noticed that even while charging the phone android battery status says Discharging.....
Please help ......

Hi Experts!
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 (I9100), which was running the original samsung 4.0.4 ROM. I rooted the phone, and installed Resurrection Remix Jelly Bean - 4.1.2. Everything worked perfectly for a couple of weeks. All of a sudden, for the last few days, the phone became unresponsive for 15-20 secs after I switch the display on - does not respond to touch, or any of the keys for the initial 15-20 secs. After this time, everything works perfectly fine! This unresponsiveness is consistent everytime I turn the display on, and is seen only during that time and not in between usage.
I gave my phone to a service centre and asked them to install the original samsung ROM back again, to see if the RR ROM or rooting is the cause of the issue. Sadly, this issue remains even after I've put back the original samsung ROM 4.0.4. (See screen shot attached)
The service centre guys are saying its a mother board issue (without really looking much into it). Could I really have screwed up the hardware? Any suggestions from the experts here?
Thanks & Regards,
Anand
Hello there, i have Galaxy s2 as specified in the title, before installing any costume ROM the phone was alright but after i installed Darky Rom the phone started to be a little buggy, so i went and i followed few simple steps on how to bring back s2 on stock firmware, problem was that it never got rid of those little bugs, from time to time, it freezes, the proximity sensor doesn't work, i answer calls and BAMM it doesn't work, it gets stuck phone is still ringing but can't do nothing, even if i do a wipe on it wouldn't help because i did it few times and it just wouldn't work as it should.. anyone has any idea why does it act like that? the phone is still new...
Symptoms when stuck:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Works laggy
when press on unlock button "power key" screen is black can't see its unlock screen wallpaper
it over heats.

Hi guys, posting here as a last resort really. The galaxy tab 10.1 I bought for my mum has just suddenly stopped working. According to her it was 100% charged and it suddenly turned off. It was running a cm build (can't remember which) but has been working perfectly for the past 3 years.
Is there anything I can try to revive it or is it gone?
I have tried leaving it overnight on charge as well as all the usual button combinations.
Thanks
Same here... Been fine for so long and now out of nowhere, it wont boot past Samsung logo screen, just goes pitch black... Im actively working on fixing it, ill post back how to fix it if i can manage to fix it.
