Hello, i am having a problem with my camera everytime i try to open it, the app returns me an error.
I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2006128 it says to me to launch the camera firmware utility with the command *#34971539#.
The problem is that my phone won't open that code, it returns me an error on factory test.
I already tried to flash several roms including the stock without root, no success.
If anyone know how to solve this i would be really glad if you post here
Thanks!
What error?

well flashing can't be guaranteed 100%. that's your own risk. you are directly into 2nd method? what about the 1st one?

for some reason when i dial *2767*3855# and nothing happens
Read Carefully then try
Frankly Spaeking there is risk in downgrading to 4.0.4 because of sudden death issue
(if you dont know about it click the link below)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2091045&highlight=sudden+death
I would suggest flash samsung 4.0.4 firmware
Check the camera and then immediately flash 4.1.2 (latest one)
i hope it will solve the problem

back to ICS may cause SDS "sometimes." though, you may try it. may be hardware failure!
is there a reason why ICS might get my camera working again?

in ics firmwares some memory error leads system to a hardware failure. so once you downgrade to ics, you need to upgrade to 4.1.2 ASAP once you check whether the camera is working or not. :good:

The hardware failure i understand, but what i am asking is, what happens in ICS that it will magically make my camera work again.

Kies doesn't even know what root is.
Android does, they invented it (and they encourage it).
Samsung.....well...enough said.

lol, if u install a stock Firmware on ur Rooted device it will automatically 'Unroot' ur phone, so u can update ( if any available) ur phone as usual
Rule N° 1: Never get a Galaxy Ace.
Rule N° 2: If you can't update, flash.

I faced the same problem as yours...mine is Xperia Sola. After flashing an experimental CM9 based rom, touchscreen and touch buttons failed to function.I flashed back stock ICS ftf but even then it didn't work. Then i flashed stock GB firmware and voila-touchscreen functionality restored.
Hope this helps you too.

Hello
There is probably some thread already going on about this, but there's too much information i can't locate exactly what i'm looking for.
So my apologies in advance for bringing this up again.
My problem is my IMEI nr changed to 0049.... after i flashed the latest version of Omnirom on my Galaxy S3 I9300, and now i can't make any phonecalls nor receive text messages. Wifi seems to be working. Before it was running smoothly with Cyanogenmod.
So can someone please give me a step by step solution to fix this sjit? Or redirect me to the correct thread, or whatever that can get this issue solved?
I'm surely willing to donate to whoever helps me out.
Big thanks in advance!:good:

Meanwhile i flashed it, but i seems to be stuck on the Samsung-screen loader. Before that all apps were updated, but still stuck now loading....
Any more suggestions?
Yes: Boot into Recovery. This must be StockRecovery, otherwise your flash failed. Then do FactoryReset.
