rooting advice needed. - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

Years ago, I rooted my HTC EVO 4G and I was a flashaholic. Due to life's issues I have not had the chance to root my LTE but would like to now. I've been out of the rooting world for some time so I'd like a little guidance in the way of websites or just a general direction.
Also, I tried to get ADB to work on this phone and would not recognize the device. No clue what I'm doing wrong there.
Here's what I have, I don't even know if I can root this phone. Is the exploit available?

Thank you.

Check out Bigdaddy's guide for rooting. Click on the link in my sig, as it has a link to his guide, also. Lots of other useful info there, too.
Not sure if your OG was S-off, but it's highly recommended on this device.
I came from the OG EVO myself. Welcome Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any questions, or just ask here in the forum.

Thank you! My OG was rooted using UNREVOKED and I believe that gave me S-OFF and threw a custom recovery on--possibly, it's been a while but I remember that it was very easy and there were literally hundreds of combinations of kernels, radios and ROM you could flash. That unit was truly customizable. I'm not sure why I moved on to the LTE. Oh well, it is nice and is fast, maybe that's why. I'll start with your sig and go from there. I just needed some to show me the gate.

Wrong section btw should be in Q&A

Not sure if you're still looking for advice but if so, via htcevohacks.com and download the EVO4GLTERoot2 zip. Follow their instructions on how to root. Simple and easy to follow. As far as S-off goes, try facepalm (look for it here on XDA) but being that you are on the most recent firmware, you may have to use dirty racun like I did. A bit complicated but it works nonetheless. Find dirty racun at unlimited.io

Rooting Htc Evo 3d! Help!

I have Htc Evo 3D under Sprint. I want it rooted and flashed to Boostmobile. Anyone knows what to do?

Baseband Version:
0.97.10.0808

I don't know where to start!
:crying:
I feel so sad! I want this rooted to do everything as if it was still with Sprint. I also want to get rid of the extra un-delete-able apps such as Blockbuster. Etc.,
I want to use free hot spot so I can share the wifi with my laptop! Please help!
I will forever be grateful.
Also, I need something Semi-easy. I am not too computer literate.
Thank You! :good:
If you had read one of the MANY stickies and guides on here, you would know that the root method you will use depends on your hboot.

Check out htcevohacks.com and look on top of the webpage and click evo 3d hacks it will show you pictures and give you the folders you need to root your device and a video. Or creagslist also can do it for you if your not sure of what to do. Also once your rooted and you want to change roms to ice cream sandwich make sure you dounload and install 4ext recovery or you will be stuck on bootlop when you change rom.
What h-boot are you? To find it, take the battery out, put it back in and hold volume down and the power button. I'm not sure about flashing it to boost mobile though, I've heard its not 100% legal. If you're h-boot 1.4 use revolutionary to aquire s-off and root, if you're 1.5, there are a few methods to get s-off i believe. But, like the poster before me, view the stickies. They are easy guides. Good luck!

Help flashing ROM from old root/s-off

When the EVO 3D originally came out I was very active in browsing the XDA forums, and rooted my phone using the teamwin(?) method, changed it to S-off and flashed the synergy rom to my phone. Since then I have been very busy and havent followed the Evo3D scene. My question is what steps would be needed for me to flash to a newer rom such as MeanROM (ICS build)?
I apologize for the probably unneeded information, I just dont know exactly what is needed.
Below is the current status of the phone:

Update radios, update firmware (preferably Freeza's all-in-one), then flash the rom.

Dont forget to wipe EVERYTHING twice except for the sdcard and maybe evem run a wipe all zip as well
Thank you both. It took me a little while to source up the firmware and other updates (used another source besides friezas) backed up everything and did a superwipe and was able to flash everything without any issues and now im on ICS! thank you both again.
Can anyone tell me where to get Freeza's all-in-one? I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm on HBOOT 1.04 too and want to upgrade to ICS. Was hoping for CleanROM, since that's what I've been using, but it looks like Scott stopped supporting the EVO 3D.
Thanks!

Anyways here is the correct information as of this writing sorry for the bad information the first time.
Information
Android Version: 4.0.3
HTC Sense Version: 3.6

The information you've given cannot be correct, Do you perhaps mean Android 4.0.3? And what carrier are you on? and any and all information you can think of (Correct information) will be helpful here.
Plus hboot and ROM version don't correspond with each other. I believe he is gsm too due to his bootloader being 1.63 I mean 1.53.

Depends upon your Hboot version. If you're on Hboot 1.12, 1.15, 1.19 or 2.09 (software version 3.15, baseband/radio ending in 1119) you can use Facepalm. If you're on Hboot 2.09 (software version 3.16, baseband/radio ending in 1210) you can use Moonshine. Both methods are Windows friendly and can be found in the Original Development section. Hit the link in my sig for more info.

[Q] HTC EVO 4G LTE Bootloop problem

Ok guys I am new to the whole rooting and flashing game and I think I might have messed up bad . I am currently experiencing a problem with the boot animation looping when I went to install a ROM I then proceeded to accidentally hitting factory reset in the bootloader menu. Now I have no backups of my shipped htc rom and I am currently lost. Couldn't really find my exact same problem in the forums so I figured I'd go and post this. I just want to get back to my shipped rom and want my phone working again, how do I do so???

Yes I have twrp installed so, have to put the Viper rom on my sd card and flash it using twrp?? lol sorry for bein sucha noobie, first time flashing roms and such
Yes download the rom, place it in your sd card, then got to twrp and install the rom, follow the s-on instructions ad it requires an extra step to flash the boot.img...

You need to unlock your bootloader, since it's showing relocked. Once you've done that, you can flash a ROM. In addition, since you're S-on, you will need to flash the ROM kernel separately from the ROM, so do as suggested above and install a ROM with an S-on kernel installer, or you'll have to fastboot flash the kernel for the ROM to boot.
