I've searched and haven't seen anything so maybe someone else has experienced this.
First off, I do not have a case on my phone.
While I talk on the phone, no matter how good or bad the service, my Mic cuts out and the person on the other end cant hear me for a few seconds at a time. I can hear them fine when it happens, but they cant hear me. This tends to happen every phone call. Sometimes Just once, sometimes every couple of minutes.
Any ideas?

I love the Vibrant. Most things work fabulously, however, I'm on my 3rd one (for completely different and unrelated reasons), and this issue just won't go away. It's ironic, all of the whiz-bang functions work flawlessly, but the issues with the basic functioning as a PHONE are getting old. When I'm on the road, more times than not I will be in the middle of a call, and it will plain drop. I NEVER had a call drop with the trusty dusty G1 for almost 2 years. I may have narrowed it down to one of 3 things, but they are not consistent: 1) If I have rebooted and forget to turn off the "auto update of time" function, and it does it's thing, it drops then. If I get another call while I'm on a call, it will do it then. If I'm using Google Voice, it seems to happen even more frequently. The other annoying thing is that every day, at least several times a day, I will try to make or answer a call and the Bluetooth will have plain disconnected randomly. I have Jabra JX10's for both home & the car. Is there anyone else who has had these issues, and have any insight as to what may be causing them? It did both when I had just gotten each, so I can't see that it's the ROM, kernel or lagfix. I've asked this before, and I hate to use the "F" (Froyo) word, but if it comes, will it include a new/stronger radio that maybe the issues will be solved? Oh yeah, one final thing, and this may be solely Google Voice related, but often when a call drops or fails to connect, if I try to make another, I hear an ear piercing ridiculous static sound until I reboot. Someone please tell me that I am not the only one who has ever had these issues and that my phone is possessed by aliens. TIA...
Hello.
First: I already read all the threads where people are complaining about randome freeze when they END a call!
But: I got the problem that, directly after I called somebody, that I get a freeze and have to wait till the battery is empty.
During these few seconds, I dont hear the person I called (and he also doesnt hear me).
So is this still a software problem or does anybody know a fix for it?!
Would be greaaaaaattttt to hear a positiv comment/advice/tip!
Thanks, hd21337
I'm also having this problem, usually when i'm mid sentence. You can restart your phone when this happens, just hold the power button for 30 seconds and it restarts the phone, works for me. Anyone else have this problem and does anyone know if there is anfix in the works?
'sometimes when I'm all alone and have no one to talk to'
just kidding
Yes I have it to, when in the midst of a phone call, the call gets disrupted, screen goes black and 'hello' Nokia Lumia, rebooting itself all over again
Now I think it has got better after the recent update, but still even in the odest moments my phone reboots without any reason. So they still need to improve this even more then they already did.
My phone was fine, then the plague came. It was rebooting couple of tomes a day. After second hard reset the problem is gone. Don't know why it took two resets to fix the issue. Now it's perfect, not a single reboot. *touch wood*
Sent from my Lumia 800 using Board Express
I was listening to Play Music with headphones.
I then received a call.
That's when my curiosity kicked in so I answered the call, without removing my headphones like normal.
Well, I could hear the other person through the headphones so I decided to unplug them.
Then I finished my call in the normal way without the headphones.
The next call I received I could hear the person, however, they couldn't hear me.
So I tried rebooting my phone and called them back, with the same results.
I then decided I should try the headphones again, yep could hear them.
I looked through the setting for the sound and couldn't find anything that would seem to help me.
Then I tried to re-flash my ROM, Neutrino 2.7.
So I went through all previous stated troubleshooting with the same end results.
My wife is getting annoyed with me by calling all the time.
So I turn to you all knowledgeable XDA folk!
Have you ever experienced this with yourself?
Know of any fix?
I am off to check the other devices to see if something like this has happened.
I'm stock, no root... 4 seconds into a call, each time I get cut off for aprox. 2 seconds and after that everything is normal. It happens during every call, no matter if I call or get called.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Also I have the same problem, maybe if anyone knows a solution? tnx
Nothing?
I did notice that it only happens when I talk to people on different carrier than mine... Weird.
Im not sure if anyone else is having this issue but whenever i make a phone call the fluctuates. It like moves in waves, i hear them and then it goes quite then i hear them again. This happen on speakerphone, on regular ear piece calls and even via the audio jack. The problem also occurs when i get voice messages. It seems fine someday and then someday calls are almost impossible to hear or voice mail is impossible to hear. I have been having this issue basically since day one and im not sure what is going on. Please any help would be appreciated.
Am i the only one with this issue?
