Installed Gruesomewolf's package and all is working great, but some notifications are not showing up in my notifications bar to be cleared. Specifically, if I set an alarm and then snooze, the alarm Icon shows in the top right but I cannot access the alarm to disable it. Have had a few other similar "active" apps which I could not access either and am not sure where this setting might be located.

I am having that same issue, one example is Tasker. Not sure how to fix it though.

Did you uncheck the Ongoing Items box in 3Minit? That might be why.

Ongoing title & Onging items are both checked. No notifications title is the only unchecked item.
I toggled all 3 and have had no change, currently have all 3 checked.
I have a similar issue w/ audiobooks which are playing, it sounds very much like the Ongoing Items is what is not working.
EDIT: After ticking all 3 on, the ongoing items show up, but there is a delay between when changes are made and results so I am unsure what to check and what to uncheck now. The wifi update now shows up too so time to block that item.
Make sure the ongoing items box is checked. Then reset the notification bar by making a change to the toggle text box or toggle indicators box.

My Touchwiz digital clock's alarm is always set, as indicated by the alarm clock icon in the notification bar.
When I tap on the clock and the alarm-setting window opens, it gives me no options to cancel the alarm. I set the alarm to silent and uncheck vibrate, but when I close out of this window, a small message appears and says something like my alarm is set to go off in 23 hours, 10 minutes. And the alarm clock icon is still in the notification bar.
Anybody know how to turn the damn thing off? Thanks!

Just delete the alarm? I am on Task650's ROM, but since it's touchwiz there shouldn't be a difference. There's a delete option next to done and cancel on the top of the page. I attached a pic.

Thanks, but I don't have a delete option showing on my screen. I just have Done and Cancel, but there is no Delete with a trashcan icon. I know there's got to be a way to turn the alarm off.
Anybody else?

Could you post a screen shot of how yours looks in comparison? I didn't have that problem before I rooted and what not. I just don't remember how it looked compared to mine now

How do I turn off Gmail notifications on the watch with GNE?
I just want them to show up with the stock Gear Notifications.
Someone? Please?

In Notifications for Gear S (maybe it's not GNE, don't know), you can select what apps to have their notifications sent through Notifications.
For that :
1. start Notifications (on the phone)
2. press the "wrench" icon in the upper right corner to enter settings
3. Uncheck "Read Gmail Notifications"
If it's still showing notifications, you can use 2 other methods :
A. filter by notifications text
- in the settings use the "Do not read notifications containing ..." and add whatever text you know will always show up
B. selective notificationns
- in the settings activate the "Do you want to be asked for new...", this will make the app ask you for each new notification type. When the dialog shows up (when you get a notification from a new program) you can choose to send the notification or to ignore it
In case GNE and Notifications are not the same app, you should look into GNE's settings and see if it has similar ways to choose what notifications it sends.
But, then I won't see Gmail notifications at all, instead of only seeing them once, versus twice, which happens now with GNE.

If you only disable GNE to send the notifications and leave the standard Gear S notifications active for Gmail then you should get just one notification (the standard one).
If you instead want to get the notification just from Notifications Extended, well, i for one didn't manage to do that.
When i disable notifications for Gmail from the standard Gear S notifications then the Notifications Extended doesn't send the notifications either. I might have something configured incorrectly though, haven't played too much with the settings.
After android 9 update from T-Mobile my s9+ no longer shows the clock icon over in the right side group of icons to tell me the clock is running in the background. This is kind of annoying because the clock was always very unreliable and I used to check that to make sure the clock was still going (I'm using the stock google clock app, not samsung's clock app). Is there some setting to make this come back? Is there any other way to tell the clock is still running?
Also I no longer get the icon telling me I'm on wifi calling from the phone app (though the setting for wifi preferred is still turned on in the app). I presume it is doing wifi calling anyway.
The clock icon is apparently the system alarm icon that says alarms are set. I found the UI tuner launcher app, and it shows the system alarm icon as being active, but no such icon appears in the status bar. Does the alarm clock app use some feature now that doesn't look like a system alarm any longer? Or is the system alarm icon just gone forever in android pie regardless of the UI tuner setting?

If you pull down on the notification panel, it shows at the bottom the wifi calling is active. Weird place to put it, but I guess they just want one software for all and are taking things away from good phones for the stupid pin/pill hole on the next worst thing.

The problem is due to all the PER-app notification permissions. (I was missing notifications all the time. )
The next time you miss a notification: (Instructions are for MIUI12 but should be similar for MIUI1. I think the upgrade may have also reset some of the notification settings):
Swipe down on the status bar from the top left.
Long-press on the notification that you missed.
Click MORE SETTINGS. (The app in question will display.)
Ensure "Show Notifications" is enabled.
Allow Sound, Vibration, LED.
Below Notification Categories, press on one of the notification sub-categories:
Ensure "Show Notifications" is enabled for the sub-category. Change "Importance" to Default or High. (If it is "LOW", the other options are disabled.)
Change the notificaiton SOUND, Vibration, LED as desired.
If the missing notification isn't appearing in the status bar or if you want to fix the problem with other apps, you will have go to SETTINGS | NOTIFICATIONS and find the app yourself.
tried all the above...still does not work
Today: Poco X3 PRO + MIUI 12.5.1 and still the same problem. How could it be broken for so long? Maybe no one cares
So I'm coming from a pixel 6 pro to the galaxy s23 ultra. It's my first Samsung phone so I'm still getting familiar with the Samsung flavor of Android.
Is there a way to hide/not display an apps persistent notification icon from the status bar? I use a diabetic monitoring app(xdrip+) which has to always be running for obvious reasons. The app produces a graph which is always visible when I pull down the notification bar, I like that peice and want to keep it. However having the icon displayed in the status bar at all times is an eye sore.
On the pixel (and previously my oneplus 7 pro) I could set the notification to "silent" and it would hide the icon but would still display the graph in the notification bar. I can't find a way to mirror that on my galaxy s23. I can disable the persistent notification all together, but then I lose access to the handy graph.
When the notification shade is down and all notifications are visible you tap and hold the notification you want to change and after a moment a few options will appear and you tap settings and it takes you yo settings for that notification

I tried that, and setting it to "silent" didn't do anything sadly. I also tried disabling the notification entirely but that sadly made the graph go away as well.

Ahhhhh thank you. I fooled around a bit in there before but didn't realize that there were sub options within sub options. Thank you so much for the help, I'm now able to hide the icon.
