[Q] Home and Back Buttons Are Shade of Pink? - AT&T HTC One (M7)

I recently got a new HTC one, and I'm having a small issue. On the phone, the soft buttons Home and Back seem to have a slight pink hue to them. Is this some setting I'm missing? Or are they all like that? Or is mine defective?
Has anyone else seen this? Thanks!

Vibrant home button leakage

I've been searching on google and on here and can't seem to find a thread on it.
My home button led seems to leak half way into my display when i'm viewing a black screen.
The screen would display a black image and having the buttons on makes the home button leak on the screen
It is really annoying... Anyone else have this issue? it looks like a lightsaber on my phone...

Given where you sent this message from, I think you may be in the wrong forum.
If not, I can't say I've had such an issue, but apart from using a mod to turn off the LEDs for good, there's probably not much you can do.
i'm using my hd2 because I just got my vibrant from Samsung for a screen replacement....
No one has a problem if the led from home leaking?

My gf is not as bad as mine

In complete darkness it gets to about half of the screen. In normal light its not as bad.

Yea I have the same problem, My gfs doesnt. I think its a factory defect when they are putting it together. One little pinhole in the paint that seperates the softkeys from the rest of the screen and boom, you have led glare half way up the screen.
I had 3 vibrants replaced an they all had same problem but I dont care buttons are off most of the time

I have this problem but it's very minor. I barely see it when dark. Do they just give you a new vibrant for replacement? Were you able to force them to let you do like an upgrade to a better phone or something?
no they replaced the chrome bezel and the housing + the display and glass...
It's practically new now..

Same exact thing here. The home button leakage is on most(if not all) vibrants. But it's only noticable in near or in pitch dark really. Using 2.2.1 roms turn off the lights while not being used but for some reason, that particular build on whatever rom always decreases sensitivity to the point where going back to used applications(holding home) doesn't work while the processor is being used extensively(800-1ghz) which is REALLY annoying. Anyone else by chance?

Since doing the work it too much, Ilm sure they instead give you a refurbished vibrant and used your old one for parts. In other words, Samsung didn't repair anything for yours but gave you another vibrant(which could be using parts from various sources).
It's the same imei and the same way the home button leaks... I also have a minor scratch on the camera which mine still has

there is some bleeding yes but that would have to be modified by whoever will make custom kernels
I notice this too, I think its just because of the similar color of led and face color. I'm sure its not as noticeable on the carbon blue. Slight side effect of such a great color.

Yea, did not have that issue with my blue one. I swapped it out for the white one yesterday.
I was jealous of my girlfriends white Note. Just turned the lights off. Issue fixed for now.

I did the opposite...I swapped to the carbon one because the bleed bothered me.

If you think that's bad you should see the white skyrocket. Now that was bright. Gnote is no where near as bright as the skyrocket. I think the skyrocket uses some kind of LED lighting which if you can get pass how bright it is, it looks a lot better.

I actually noticed them in the AT&T store. I figured it was a Samsung issue. I just turned off the lights. Don't really need them anyways.
This is a problem? Really??? Not trying to be an A-hole but I didn't notice it at all. The Beast needs bright lights! lol

LOL.. On some phones it's kinda overkill.. Just a stray bright light in the corner of your eye when you're looking at the screen.

Blotches when viewing a black screen.

I noticed my screen has black blotches in the screen that are only visible when you are in are dark room looking at a black (or dark gray) background. Both of these conditions must be met to see it. This is actually my second gs3, I returned my first one cause it did it really bad and I later noticed that the new one also did it. Can any of you guys confirm that yours also does this? Go to Google images and l search black and look at that image.

Just wanted to hear that it's normal, I figured it was the case after my second phone. It's hard to feel like your phone may possibly be defective when it's less than a week old. Looks great 99 percent of the time.

[Q] Blue tint screen?

Anyone else ever get a blue tinted screen? Occasionally (several times a week), when I reboot the screen has a very dark blue tint. I tried to take a screenshot to post, but the screen shot looks normal. Rebooting fixes the issue most of the time. I am running Neo's Tron ROM (v1.2) and Shrike's Ermahgerd (build 12.2.5) kernel. anyone ever seen this before? any ideas to fix?
Maybe try a different ROM and see if it is still there. I personally haven't seen the blue tint on my zound so hard to say.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure I have only seen it on Tron, but I flashed Tron when it first came out in mid January and only started seeing this issue a couple of weeks ago.... I'll take a picture with my camera next time it happens and post it.
Well in the movie tron the programs was basically blue lol. Sorry had to say it.

Thanks in advance
