Hi Guys. I have been Using Sony Xperia Phones and rooting & installing CWM on those phones is fairly very easy (unlocking bootloader and just installing a Kernel Using Flashtool which comes with CWM and root) ...... Its running on Jelly Bean 4.2.1 and has Quad Core MTK 6589 chipset .... please see link for rest of its specs .....
So please guys help me in rooting it and installing CWM in it ....

Star X26i uses the same mt6575 chip. I also have a STAR n800 which I have rooted , and flashed CWM.
1) Install the proper drivers in your PC
2) Root your phone using - TPSparkyroot and USB cable
3) Flash only -- repeat only CWM recovery image using SP Flashtools . Do not erase pre loader, uboot.bin etc.

I don't think you can root the clone S3 but try installing the latest factory ROM or message the company

Hi i have rooted it no problem with root with restore by Bin4ry v18 after all its running your basic mt6577 cpu but i need a all round cwm that will run on it as it has no type of recovery installed at all not even a system one(not that i can see).

You Need the SP FLASHTOOL To install the rom is stock rom and if you wana root use the framaroot with barahir exploit

I published latest Android 5.1 Rom for the device on 4pda(Russian pda community). Since I had no stock kernel sources I couldn't fix cameras. Both front and rear camera don't work.
But lollipop sound much better than stock jb, so you can download it there
Hi, i wanna ask that if i can install stock rom of mtk6582 on mtk6589. Basically the problem is that i have a phone that is gfive g7 and its mmtk6589. I had no backup for the phone and i lost baseband and imei of the phone. I read on internet different fixes but the one that works on such devices is flashing a backup of the stock rom from what i have read. Now all the said the thing is when i downloaded the stock rom for gfive g7 and was about to get ready to flash it using SP flash tool i saw that it was for processor mtk6582. So here is the issue. Can you please tell me that if its actually possible.
Another question i would like to ask is that i have another phone that is gfive g9 which is also mtk6589 can i flash its back up on gfive g7. Both phones are mtk 6589 with almost same specs. So can i flash gfive g9 backup on gfive g7.
