The latest version of TWRP and CWM are lokified, which let you flash custom roms.

It really doesnt matter at this point. since loki-fied recoveries patch rom kernels to bypass the bootloader it is now a none issue.

Need help with custom rom

Hello everyone,
I just switch to Verizon and grabbed note 2 for my first phone. On ATT all I had to do was run a program where it will unlock root and install cw all at once. Now I heard that for Verizon you have to do these individually, so I was wondering if someone can give me instruction on what to do step by step so I can use custom rom, kernel and etc. Thank you and I will really appreciate any kind of help!

You'll need to root your phone to be able to flash custom ROMs via Recovery, you can also install kernel such as Perseus or Siyah which allows you to overclock

[how to] unlocked bootloader?

When will the bootloader unlock be made available for everyone? I'm ready
Sent from my Galaxy S4
LOKI doesnt require bootloader unlock and you can still flash recoveries, roms and kernels. Wrong section as well, by the way.

Easiest way to achieve a customer recovery would be to root and then just install goo mananger and install TWRP
sigh.../facepalm

[Q] remove loki?

if i put a custom recovery on my S4 and dont like it. can i restore through odin and that will remove loki? or am i then considered stuck with an unlocked bootloader that voids the warranty?
We don't have a downloader unlock so Odin will take you to stock.

Need help installing bootloader with 4.4.2 OTA

.....

I know this is a noob question, but I have spent last several days trying to figure out how to unlock bootloader, and i am exhausted. Please help
I know that i have to unlock the bootloader first, recovery, nandroid, to ADB.. to ROM. I just cant seem to get off the ground.
I have read the forums to unlock the bootloader, but it has not been working. I think it's the fact that this has the OTA that make those forum threads obsolete.
I would greatly appreciate to those that can lead to me the right direction.
Thanks in advance.
