Has anyone found a method that works on the S4 to sort apps? Appzorter is no longer in the play store, and the .apk I have isn't compatible with the new version of TouchWiz?
Thanks!
Go to your app drawer. Click on the menu button (on the bottom left). Click on View Type. Choose Alphabetical Grid.
Thanks! That did the trick. I appreciate the info!

Is there anyway I can ADD an application to the recent app list (the one you get when you hold the home button)?
I dont want to assign the button to just a single app but to more than one...
I want it in a way that I get the app i want (in the top left corner) and also get the list of recent apps?
I am on Galaxy ace CM7 <grif_07>

Glad that I helped

But you could find an app that groups apps you want together and bind the app to the long press of home button. The setting is in cyanogenmod settings.

yah, thats what I am doing right now,
But it'd be better to have recent apps + an app manager on the list.

Reminded me about that feature. Tried it in B3 and it didn't work. Works now in Behrad's CM7. Long press menu still doesn't work right now though.

you mean what grif compiled for 2.3.7?
Long press menu is actually a brand thing. Didn't have this function with some other android phones.

Is there a way to replace the Applications icon in the bottom row with another app (e.g., Dolphin browser)? I was able to replace the Mail and Wed in the 2nd and 3rd positions, but not Applications.
Thanks.

It's easy. Touch applications then touch "menu | view type" and select custimizable grid. Then touch "menu | edit". Success.
You cannot replace the Applications icon as then you would not have a way to get into the app drawer (at least defined by Touchwiz).
What I wanna know is how to get 5 icons in there

Not so easy. I had already tried that, but the far right icon (Home) doesn't budge. As another commenter indicated, it's not possible.

I have the SAMSUNG MEGA 5.8, if u press the return key for more than 3 seconds, a sidebar at the left will appear with icons and widgets of programs that can be launched, I would like to Edit this. as of now, you can only add or remove those which are already existing to it. I would like to be able to add widgets of new programs or even games I have recently downloaded. at present, I am unable to connect my mega5.8 to this computer as it cannot be recognized by WONDERSHARE MOBILEGO. hope someone can help, thanks

You need a mod to do this, I don't know if there is one for your device but the phone cannot do this.
Search for multiwindow add apps.
Watch this guide, I don't know if this will work for you http://highonandroid.com/android-ap...ps-for-multi-window-multi-window-manager-app/
Hello guys,
One disadvantage to the Health app LG included is that you need to have the smart bulletin running on your homescreen to use it. Well not anymore!!
What I did was make an app that will launch the LG Health app. I used Tasker and just exported a simple app to do this! I will share it here for everyone that wants to use the LG Health app but does not want to have the smart bulletin enabled. So far for me it is working fine.
Just download and install the app and to open you just open your app drawer. If you wish to uninstall, mine is version 1.0, which would be an easy distinguishing factor in the app manager, also mine is a smaller sized app than the actual health app.
Just thought I would share because I am sure some people are limited here and would like this setup. Any questions let me know I will be glad to help!
Any of the shortcut making apps on the play store can do this. I did it that way. Many launchers will, too.
Thanks for the effort, though.

Any way to do this in Themer?
I've found you can long hold the desktop and go to advanced/shortcuts, but I don't see Activities in there.

I understand that, but some people may not, and this also adds it to their app drawer which is a small convenience.
Just throwing it out there as an option.
On Nova launcher, I just have it set as a nova activities widget. Works great. Icon is what it looks like as a shortcut with the circle case.
Just go to widgets, add the activities widget (might require nova prime), and choose LG health. Done.

install apex launcher but make themer your default launcher. this will give you an activities shortcut. there you will find LGhealth.
Thanks, I'll give it a shot. This won't put it in my App Drawer though will it? Using themer, I hate putting shortcuts on the screens, it is too perty.
I'm trying to get Themer to make this possible, they don't understand right now.
Hi everyone,
You can also download the Any Cut app from the Play market to achieve this. At least that's how I did it.
Open the App ---> go to activities and select LG Health from the list.
The only drawback for some could be that it doesn't get the shortcut to the app drawer. But that may no be an issue for everyone.
Hope it helps
