Hi,
i unlocked my bootloader and rooted my JB xperia p..not the issue im facing is that when i boot up:
1. Takes ALOT of time
2. as soon as i unlock it says process system not responding
3. after i lock and unlock 2-3 times the phone reboots on unlock!
its a very weird thing.. PLEASE help me out!!

I also changed the system UI sounds..could that be the reason for this problem?

The reboots have stopped, turns out the issue was in the permissions of the ui sounds..fixed the permissions and reboots have stopped
BUT! the booting is still slow..and ive noticed that when the phone is plugged into usb then its boots up just fine but when it isnt at times it doesnt even boot!..the boot animation keeps going on and on..its not a boot loop it just keeps booting...something like a tethered boot thing (wild guess!)

Custom or stock Rom?

HI ALL,
i have been facing a problem for last two days. I updated my Xperia P to JB using pc companion. It was working fine. Suddenly there was an issue in the morning the day before yesterday. It suudenly started to Reboot automatically.
First the logo of sony and xperia comes and dissolves. Then the default loading wave of xperia appears but instead of going to the lock/home screen it starts the booting process again and this process repeats.
I switched off my phone using lockkey+volume up. i tried to update/repair my phone using PC copanion and Sony Update service. Both case the latest software is downloaded and installed. But after installation when i try to switch on, it goes to the menu screen normally and asks me to select time format, language etc... but when it asks me to search for Wi-Fi networks if i touch on 'search for available networks' it falls in the same reboot loop again & the Home screen never comes..
afterwards, i skipped that step of WIFI and now it works fine.. but the problem is when i hit the WIFI it falls in the same loop. Now i am in a fix ... i dont know how to solve this and without WIFI there is just no use of this phone
the device was not rooted nor flashed before
What should i do? Try to flash my ROM?

Your warranty is still intact. Take it to a service centre.

This was the official updated status given in the attachment
It's a long shot but have you tried to reboot your router?
Since it worked for a while, and you repaired the phone and it still exists, I am guessing it's not a problem that related only to the firmware.
Could be hardware problem.

did you mean the router i use for WIFI? If yes, i guess the router is fine the network is detected by other phones any my laptop

But did you reboot it?
I had several times my phone would not be able to connect while other devices did, bithing but rebooting the router helped.
Bootloops usually come from flashing a bad rom......... Never heard of this problem before....

at start I have to apologize for my worse english; haven`t written and spoken it for years.
I have an Z2 and rooted it a few weeks ago; after that I installed Cyanogenmod Recovery.
I`ve tried a few Custom Roms but the problem is always the same: It crashes after some time, when I am trying to start an App.
Mostly Ingress and Google Maps. Often they work fine, like 4-6 times, they start without any issues.
But one time it crashes.
It restarts instantly and often tells me I dont have a simcard or it disables the Bluetooth-Connection.
The only possibility is to restart it and after that it works fine... for a few hours till I try to restart an app.
Sometimes it hangs itself up in a boot loop and i have to use Power + Vol Down to get into Cyanogenmod Recovery, but after that the restart takes up to 15 minutes because he calibrates all the apps.
It seems that the problem doesn`t happen when I am using Wlan.
Everything else works fine, no problems, but it is really annoying.
Any ideas?

1. cyanogenmod recovery is sh*tty
2. install a pre-rooted stock rom or a modified one like eXistenZ Premium, MoonWalker epidemic or PureX
never had such issues with these roms
Yeah, i know its ****ty, but i cant enter the bootloader anymore; it always starts the recovery. So i cant remove it.
The other problem is, that i tried 4 different roms and the problem seems to appear in every rom.
So it seems to depend on something else.
I'm having the same exact issue except that I don't get into bootloops

The bootloops seems to appear only under Ressurection Remix; i've installed CM again and they didnt happen anymore.
But the problem, that it crashes and after a restart often didnt find my SIM, is still there...
I don't know about RR rom as I haven't tried it but I'm getting the reboots on CM

It would be helpful if you took a logcat ?
Sounds like a hardware problem related to the nand
Yes it was hardware problem,,i gave it to mi service center,and they fix my phone by replacing motherboard,,

i restore and re flash but nothing change ,after re flash it ok for one or two week, that if i install any application, freezing and restarting becomes.
i re flush with my android version is marshmallow with root access , still freezes and restarting.

I too had the same problem. and I found the solution. sat down to format the memory card or change the

in log cat i get this error
qcom powerhal failed to acquire lock.
what is this error how can if fix this ?
