i want to root my mobile sony ericson live with walkman please help me to unlock my device and install the rom and what is clockwork mode every thing is very difficult to me understand and am new to android mobiles please suggest me the best rom from our xda developers and help me how to upgrde my mobile. And if there is a link in our developers site or a video which will help to me understand plese send those links to my mail id which i have mentioned earlier

WELCOME TO XDA.
You will find that by using the XDA search & advance search features, you should find all your answers.
There are sometimes when you need to do a Google search. Just type in your question in Google and add XDA at the end. This will narrow your results down better.
If you have a question about a specific ROM/kernel/MOD, then ask in the existing thread for said development.
Have fun, and search and read.
The information is out there you just have to read it

Erm,i recently decided to root my x10i,then i saw alot of ways.I came to wolfbreak's CM6.1.3 .I saw another one with the need to use flash tool and bussybox,but wolfbreak nv use .and i am not sure whether flashtool is useful and bussybox is useful,can some please clear my doubts?

my phone is unlocked, i mean i can use any sim. other than that no interventions have been done, its just a new phone.

I mean from the very very beginning.

I'm new here, so a very big "thank you" to all developpers who take times to free and improve our smartphones !
I have a Xperia Sola (build 6.1.1.B.1.54 / kernel 3.0.8+ / Android 4.0.4), I am very interested by a cyanogenmod version to be free from Google eye, but I would like to continue to have the NFC support and the last time I would inform me about that, the NFC and Radio FM wasn't supported.
I don't care about Radio FM, but the NFC is really important for my work.
Is someone could tell me if the NFC is now supported with the Jelly Bean version please ?
Where I could download the necessary file please ?
Also, I am under GNU/Linux, if there is a documentation to install it from GNU/Linux this could be usefull too
