ibought galaxy s3 and i want to upgrade my android and i was needed to use odin..and i cant get downloadmod i just have a black screen.
i intstalled cwm v5.5.0.4.but its not really help..

Find out your real phone's model, and ask google about it. You might get lucky (try with s3 clones, and how to detect the model)
Also, the android debug bridge interface might help you detect your phone's real model, if drivers are available.

it says "copy" right in the title. the phone has nothing in common with a S3 except for a similar look

read specification for our processor and you'll see that it already overclocked at the factory.
i've heard from one of my friend that the processor was factory overclocked.but a custom rom will improve the performance.i tried using villain rom .it was having too much of bugs..i shifted back to kp8....its really good.....no bugs nothing.......
Try using KPE, less buggy tnah KP8.

I read somewhere that the processor of sga is the turbo version of the 600mhz variant. Contrary to many assumptions it is not factory overclocked. The post is somewhere in the sga thread.
The processor runs at 800 MHz, 600 is the speed of the non-turbo version.

hey do you have problems like copying file from computer to sd card?
hey guys, im a having serious headache here.
few days ago i changed my sd card from 2GB to 4GB and i flashed my phone to the lastest firmware (S5830XXKPE) and rooted it.
i connected my phone to the computer via usb to copy songs and some files into my sd card. however it hangs and become unresponsive while transfering files into sd card. and so i cant copy files from computer into my sd card! well, i did try by using micro sd card reader, the copy process goes smoothly BUT when i put in the sd card back to my phone, it shows nothing in it!! as if i dint copy anything!!
HELPPPPPPP !! is it the SD card problem or the firmware problem ?? i guess it is not the firmware problem since i have been browsing through so many threads from various forum and couldnt find anything related about this. any ideas about this problem ???

I hope you can work with dee000000 who is working on a cyanogenmod port. At first it is not stable but as development goes further until it becomes stable it will be a nice custom rom. Well this is just an idea

No, you can't because it designed to run bada and you need to make android rom yourself for your phone, which is not possible as it requires high technical knowledge like compiling a rom, compiling kernel for your device using source of another device! You should have good knowledge of soldering pins or wires to flash boot loader on main board by opening the phone! The results may not be guaranteed, you might also brick your cellphone.

Some cons though: Weak GPS/WiFi/Bluetooth/radio signals in general, and not to mention terrible Camera(not even close to 13MP quality, but again we are talking about a 150 Dollar phone. If I wanted a phone with carl zeiss optic, then I should have spend more money :laugh:.
Also to small internal memory. I had to Swap internal SD with External SD, problem solved. Needed root, but my phone was prerooted when delivered.

This is the only Firmware Download i find on Google and This Download is corrupt... The Firmware file is damaged... i cant extract the Rom....

yes its similar but the S9500 has 2 hardware versions.... MTK6589 and MTK6582..... i found the rom for 6589 but not for 6582...... 6589 rom gives me a fatal error

yes u can with Mtk droid tools. I will receive my haipai in a few days, perhaps tomorrow with some luck, and i will extract the ROM as soon as possible.

You should have a problem with the drivers. Make sure in the peripheral management that you don't have a yellow triangle.
Better to use only Windows XP and 7even. Windows 8 is not effective.
Better to use Pdanet drivers too.

The configuration you said is general.
without knowing the name it would be risky to Put any Custom Rom.
This might lead your Tab to dead or Hard brick
I prefer you atleast get the name of the Tablet.
so that you can atleast root it.
and modify it as per your satisfaction..

I bought the Samsung Note 3 but it's duplicate I think which is of china or korean model.
before the factory reset everything was fine but As soon as I done all factory reset.. the Samsung boot animation got wiped and now it is showing MediaTek logo with android symbol.
What I want to Do
1.) I want to root my this Duplicate Samsung Note 3 Sm-900.
Which has Android 4.3
2.) I want to update it to Kitkat
3.) I want to change the boot screen to make it look as original Samsung logo.
guys please do reply ASAP.

You can`t flash anything from the Note 3 forum or you`ll brick your device mate
I`d go back to the shop/website you got the phone from, send back the phone and ask them to return your money and then buy an original Samsung Note 3.

Not from this forum, you don`t have a Note 3, its a fake device that looks like a Note 3 but has a different cpu, gpu and software.

Did you use 'Refurbishment Check' menu in the Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app to check your phone? What does it say?

And yes it is not SM-9006 .. Its sm-900 only..
All the things are same but when I done the "Antutu benchmark" then my device score was only 4000 and RAM OF THIS model found 512 MB and internal storage was 4 GB only.

if you flash something from N9005 or even sm-900, you 'll brick your phone, that's a different hardware
try to find a phone with same proc MT and true technical characteristic and flash a custom rom and PRAY!!!!!!!!!

Hi there. Thread moved to Android Q&A. Please note that a Note 3 clone is not at all related to an Note 3. They are completely different devices, and you cannot flash things for one device to the other.
