hi i bought spigen ultra crystal screen protector for my EVOLTE before and it is the best screen protector for the EVOLTE that i've tried.
but now they seems tu be runs out of the stock.
when i check spigen website they only have the ultra fine which is the anti glare version, which i dont like.
do any of you guys know where i can get the Spigen ultra crystal right now ? the one on my phone already scrathced like hell

I have used the Stenheil Ultra Crystal or Ultra Oleophobic from spigen / SGP on like my last 10 devices, because, they are by far and above the best I've ever used, hands down, in every way.
But for some reason, they decided not to make one for the DNA. My guess is the curved edge of the glass, they had issues with the curved glass on the Galaxy Nexus too since these protectors are "rigid". I don't care if it can't cover the entire glass as it's still better than nothing...
Anyone come across a screen protector that is like the Ultra Crystal for the DNA? IE - no orange peel, no gummy feel, no change in the picture quality, etc. IE - NOT a Zagg style protector, lol. Thanks in advance.
Have you ever tried 'best skins ever'? I use them on all my device. If you are generous with the solution the orange peel is so minor it's hard to see. I've actually used them so much I can get them on with no orange peel. They feel almost like the glass when placed correctly.

Yeah, that's a zagg invisible shield style. It's a protective material, not a good screen protector material. I'm looking for a rigid, dry install type protector. That type has NO orange peel and feels just like glass.
I used to use boxwave back in the day, they were nearly as good as Steinheil's. But it seems they stopped making protectors for all but the absolute most popular devices.
I'm probably going to order one (Steinheil Ultra Crystal) for the HTC One and just it it, it won't cover all the glass but it will the visible area at least. I confirmed this on my friends One.
Have you considered tempered glass screen protectors? There appears to be one offered by iMUSE. It should offer the best clarity, but it cost $30. I haven't purchased one myself because there aren't any reviews to be found for this screen protector.
I recently got my note 3 and need to protect it properly. I got the iloom flexible glass screen protector and have been looking at a few options for a case:
- samsung original flip wallet (expensive!)
- spinge neo hybrid case - which i think i prefer for being sober, slim and seems sturdy
- Feel free to suggest a nice quality case - slim, non obtrusive.
But i have a doubt if the spinge case wont damage the screen protector on the edges. Saw a review of the neo hybrid (i think its the one on the spinge website) and the reviewer's note3 had that screen protector problem, a little damage on the edges because of the case - it lifts the screen protector a bit.
Do any of you have any problems like these with the neo hybrid? I assume it all depends on the screen cover, on how much surface it covers and if it gets tucked below the cover.
Anyway, please feel free to give me your feedback and opinions. They are very welcome.

I have the Spigen bounce. Love it. The neo hybrid is nice but the outer plastic can crack if it hits the corner when it falls.

Seems very nice also. I somehow missed it when i was browsing the cases. And do you have a screen protector? Does the case mess with the screen protector?
I do. I have a tempered glass protector with the spigen bounce. No problems with it. It won't mess with film protectors either. This is the case with my protector. Page 64 closer towards the bottom of page.

Awesome! Enjoy your case. You will love it.
Otterbox defender, punched out the plastic screen protector and installed a mime feather tempered glass screen protector. Doesn't get any better... In my opinion.

Hello, I have been using a Samsung screen protector provided by a store as a gift. There are lots of fingerprints and a bit oily. In case I change a screen protector, which one do you recommend? MIME glass or Spigen Ultra Crystal?
If I get the Gumdrop Hideaway case, is it still recommended to get any of these? I read that some users removed the protector which came with the Gumdrop case due to some issues.

I picked these up on Ebay for my Zuk. Tempered glass fits well to edge of screen, and the back cover fits perfect as well, and recesses the buttons slightly to prevent accidental presses.

I can confirm that this case is excellent.

There's a Nillkin tempered glass screen protector. Seems very robust. I ordered it together with that case (not the one you get with case) and I'll tell you my opinion when I get it.

I have to agree with you there, I also got the film screen protector with my Nillkin case, maybe that would work better than glass?

I just got a tempered glass protector but my issue is the screen protector that came with the phone is so difficult to remove! Any ideas because I am eager to put on the tempered glass.

The case fits the phone quite nicely and barely adds any bulk. The back has a nice texture on it which makes the phone slightly less slippery. There was a also a plastic screen protector included in the package.

It feels slightly flimsier than the Nillkin case and the material isn't as hard. The surface has a soft feel to it.

So found the Ultimate shield which has good reviews (if real) and reviews say it works with case.

I'm using a matte tech21 impact shield. I really like it but they are bloody expensive at around £16 a pop!
P.s I also have ultimate shield on the back of the phone. I had tried the screen protector too but it eventually started lifting at two of the corner with a spigen rugged armour case.

Drat! I was all set to get the Ultimate Shield for my S7 Edge until I read this. Mine lives in a Spigen Tough Armor case.
Do you take your phone out of the case, or does it live in there all the time? (My phones tend to live permanently in their cases, so I'm just wondering whether taking it in and out of the case is the cause of the protector lifting...)
Well I had the same school of thought as you initially, if I'd have got the screen protector on and in the case, it was never coming out! Lol unfortunately though, will the ultimate shield being edge to edge, there is just enough flex in the spigen rugged armour case (when its in your pocket for example) to lift up the edge of the protector slightly at the corners.

It's a multi layered film, but it is wet application. It isn't rubbery though like the original invisible Shields for example, it is quite rigid and not stretchy. It does have a very strange feel to it, almost a bit rough (you can hear your finger swiping on it if you're sat in silence), but I quickly got used to this. This odd texture does seem incredibly hard wearing and resistant to any scratches. I think it does reduce screen sensitivity very slightly but not to the extent that I would write it off and remove it, you just naturally adjust your technique when interacting with the screen.
One thing to note though, if you haven't used an anti glare protector before, make sure you do your research. This one is incredibly effective in terms of anti glare but does reduce the screen quality somewhat.
