hey. anyone know where i can get a replacement metal sticker for the back of the htc one? mine just fell off after 1 day of buying the phone..... bummer
I measured the logo at the back and it's 8mm x 22mm (unless this cheap ruler is off lol).... I found one in ebay but the advertised dimension was 9mm x 26mm
It's not meant to stay on for the life of the device.
You can always find the reference to your imei and serial engraved into your simtray
? My logo seems engraved. Can we see a pic. I'm interested in how it looks.

Mine too. If you have an HTC sticker on the back, you may have a counterfeit One.
the htc logo at the back is not part of the unibody. it's not engraved, it's a metal sticker that can get peeled off unfortunately.
i managed to superglue the "C" back, although the superglue kinda dried at the bottom before I could press firmly, but better than no lettering at the back.
i'l take a pic when i a get a chance

EDIT: I used safety pin and was able to dislodge it again. i'll definitely take a pic later.

But here's a picture of the metal looking HTC logo on the back of my HTC incredible. I assume they're about the same thing.

Has anyone been able to find an OEM battery door replacement for the E3D? I couldn't come across one in a couple pages of Google hits..
Mine's getting kind of creaky (anyone else notice a creak upon applying pressure to the bottom-right corner?), and I was wondering how much a replacement cost.
18,60$ on ebay..
or on the htcstore 40$

Anyone now whee to find the GSM OEM battery door with the gold around the lens..?
Wouldn't mind a White Replacement door, myself
I bought a new door on Ebay for around
$12 shipped from Florida. Should be receiving it any day now. I plan to add a little bit of red paint to it.
If any one has any ideas our suggestions on what to do with it then let me know. Thanks

If you are only looking for the battery door, this will work on a Sprint EVO 3D. You are paying for the entire assembly but if its the battery door you are looking for and don't mind paying the extra cost, then this will work with any EVO 3D.

The link added here with the purple one. If you are only looking to change your battery door, you can buy that one from Amazon and only use the battery door. You will be paying over $80 but you WILL have a NEW battery door cover that is a different color than the stock red one. I wish I can find just the battery door for the GSM EURO EVO 3D with the gold trim but without the Rogers logo. Only the EURO GSM one has that. Has anyone been able to find that anywhere without getting the entire replacement..?

Yep. I got them. The "all black" one is actually the purple one. The gold one doesn't have "Rogers" on it. I had to remove a little rubber sticker on the inside of the gold one, but both of these fit our CDMA phones like stock
I'll probably sell them both for what I paid for them, and pick up an OEM one to paint all black. PM me if you're interested in the gold or purple ones. Pics below.

The bottom piece will snap off. It just has a sticky tape wich makes you think you're about to break something but you won't. Took my phone apart after jumping in the pool with it last week.

Zero.
Are you guys sitting on your phones or something? Stepping on them? Because I can't see how my phone hasn't bent to hell, and I don't even have a case on it...
I dunno. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones.
The plastic piece on mine doesn't fit flush along the top edge, but it isn't bent. But it's dinged up, too. So it may be from all the drops, I Dont use a case.

Does it affect your signal any? A lot of people have said the aluminum frames, bumper or all around cases, seem to affect their mobile reception. Was just wondering if it did that or not.

One more question, you put this over your regular battery door and not a wireless charging battery door? The reason I ask, I have the wireless charging battery door which makes the overall back a bit thicker and wondered if this would fit over this. Probably not but I thought I'd ask. Sorry, I have been busy but here are couple pictures that might give you idea about possible modding. I almost broke this thing trying to show you more, but decided to stop since I have no wireless charging cover to experiment with it. I used red marking so you can see where is "lower" black cover (aluminum is attached to it, don't know how - didn't remove more than on picture itself but pic 3 shows something like clips), 2nd picture is same door from inside
you have cute hands
it's a aluminum plate, so wireless charging is out.
quality looks good.

Just make sure you start a dialog with them and make them understand you want the DARK GREY frame for the xt1115

That is a pretty big difference, thanks for sharing!
How long did it take you for this conversion? And was it difficult disassembling and reassembling everything?

Took about an hour. I have had my phone apart twice before so it may take a bit longer if it's your first time.
I bought a new battery which helped as well. Nothing wrong with my original battery just wanted to be safe as I'm gonna have this device for at least another year.
I followed this guide. There are links to the original XDA thread for this as well as teardown videos.

@buzzwyzr,
Very nice conversation job indeed, the phone looks much more refined and serious with gray chassis and black backpanel. Can you post a link for the battery ? I need to order from the same seller knowing you didn't have any issues with his battery.
Thanks.

Here's the battery I purchased. The only issue I have with it is the cable is just a LITTLE bit longer than the factory battery. If you're not careful it is almost impossible to get plugged back in.

How's the quality of the mid frame? Does it feel like genuine OEM?

You have more guts than me. I'll just put on a case with a black back and grey sides.

That back cover is the one with the rubberyish soft touch feel right? Similar to the N5?
Does anyone have a working link to purchase the moto x pro back cover?
Are there any other links to the back cover? the ebay one is no longer selling and the aliexpress is a mobile link for a blue chassis.

No its not. It a link for all 3 colors. As I stated you have to start a dialog with them and specify that you want the DARK GREY chassis for the Moto X Pro.
