I'm tryin to make htc album my default pic viewer and where i could view my pics right when i take them from the camera. Is there a registry tweak or does someone know how. I have tried a few versions of the htc album, but there is always something wrong with one of them. One only shows up in landscape mode or another wont let me choose where to look for my pictures. None of them will let me view my pics when i select to view them through the camera function. it defers to the factory version of picture viewer. If anyone can help that would b great. thanks

I've had my new sprint hero for 2 weeks now and I can't figure out if this is a bug or what I'm doing wrong. Basically I have some images of friends, etc on my SD card. In my contact list, when I edit their picture, I crop the images with the square thing that comes up..and assign my friends their picture.
It looks great, sharp, etc for a day or so, but it seems like it always goes back to a distorted cropped image. Any ideas?? Thx in advance
Is there any way to change the camera photos to "newest first"? Right now my newer pictures are at the bottom and it takes a while to scroll down
Has anyone tried this, seems to be the for Nexus One though? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=804161
+1 this drives me insane. i have a ton of pics and having to scroll through all of them to see my latest is just stupid
Try QuickPic

Says you have to flash it... How could anyone try it? Or am I completely oblivious and we have S-off?
From the 3rd dimension in wireless...

It's in the market too but it won't display pics in 3d
I hate this problem too, a workaround is to open the camera app and click the preview box in the corner. That will allow you to view the most recently taken pictures first, and when you switch to grid view it will start at the bottom.
Did you know that, when scrolling through the photos, there is a function similar to what you get in the addressbook (People)? Once you start scrolling and the little scrubber/scroll bar appears, grab it and move it manually. It'll allow you to fly through the images in a second. As you're doing so, it'll even give you a pop up of the date of the photos where you'd be if you stopped scrolling. I hope that helps.
I think the other annoying thing I've seen in every Android phone (or not seen) is the ability to choose a folder before/as you're taking photos where it will save to. On top of this I don't like the HTC photo numbering scheme (image sequence) instead of time stamp as a name. I prefer the time stamp as you don't have to worry about duplicates, repeats, or conflicting names when moving and shuffling photos from phone to phone or computer for backup.
My wife has the Evo 4g and has the option to have the date and time stamp on the photo itself. I havetge 3d but dont have that option. Does it exist and i just cant find it or is there anyway to get it?
Like on the photo to show ? Well i know you can press on the pictures and details and it will show time and date and also geotag if you have it on
If you don't have an Evo3d well you don't have an Evo3d
I have been looking too I can't find that setting to stamp the date on a pic. I may have to find a app to do that.
