thats my own site, what more can i say??
it was also locked by my college antivirus,
so i followed through and reported it to the AV company and they unlocked it,
if you want it to open, you should do the same.

For what it's worth I just went there and it opened fine. It did kick up a few hits on my IDS sensors though just because it's a cu.cc domain. Because cu.cc offers free domains it is very attractive to botnet herders and that sort of thing. Not saying he is one or anything, but cu.cc domains in general are considered "suspicious" by the security community.
His IP is also shared by several sites it looks like, which is fairly normal when using a hosting service. but if any one of those sites has malicious content, the IP loses reputation. as a result legitimate sites can have their reputations harmed.
I'm certainly not saying his site or domain is suspect by any means, just explaining why AV might complain. looking briefly at the site it looks just fine

Hey, I cant post this in the dev thread because of post count but i found a root should work here: htcamazeforum[dot]com/htc-amaze-4g-how-to/how-to-root-your-phone/
I do not have the amaze yet but if someone wanted to give it a shot.
That forum is mostly for the the XE European version but they confirmed that this root will work for the US TMO version as well.

This seems to direct me to revolutionary.io but at the Revolutionary site it doesn't list the Amaze 4g as a supported device yet. I would be extremely concerned about using the Sensation's unlock info. Caution should be exercised for sure.
It doesn't even let the tool run.
Says ruby not supported.

That's the assumption I was working off of. A lot of the info was from like early August. I think the Ruby was still in development. I mean I know Europe often gets these phones before us but the idea that they would use the same name from a previous phone is ridiculous. How many names do they have to choose from, like four??? jeez

Right. But that's for the international One X with a tegra processor. This one is for the US variants with a snapdragon processor. Sure, this probably could have fit in that thread but it's not a "repost".
Anyway, to stay on topic: As much as I want to be excited, this is for the One line and I know our devices are pretty similar but until I hear it from HTC I wont be holding my breath. I'm sure we will also get the update, it's just comforting to hear it straight up from them.
HTC's quote doesn't say anything about the AT&T and T-Mo variants specifically...Just that the One S, One X and One XL...all of which I believe also exist out side the US.
Now that's not saying that I don't believe we will eventually get some JB love.
But also, our phones are different from the One series and it still doesn't mention us.

The article from Engadget was referring to Telestra. An Australian network that just so happens to have the dual-core S4 processor version of the One X, dubbed the "One XL." It also mentions this:
If you happen to own a non-LTE, Tegra 3-based One X, then the absence of that handset on the list doesn't mean much -- that model simply isn't part of the carrier's line-up.

There's nothing I need to be nice about. It's a repost. That's the problem with these threads. For some reason, everyone seems to think that there's only 1 page of threads started, and completely ignore the autosearch when creating a new thread. Someone before me posted saying it was a repost, then someone called him an "a hole," and said it wasn't a repost. Then I post, with a link for proof and explain, and all of a sudden it's, "Well, that's the Tegra 3 version" (Which it wasn't). What does it matter what version of the phone it is?
Are we going to have a new thread started when they announce that the One X for AT&T gets confirmation? Then the one that's for Vodafone? How about creating a new one as well for when O2 gets confirmation? Then one for Rogers...

The original article posted yesterday was based on Telstra's support website. All articles that were written based off of that info assumed since the One XL (equivalent of ATT One X) was getting it as well as the One S to expect the Tegra 3 One X (International One X) to get it as well as other variants. This article is HTC officially confirming that the (International) One X, One XL, and One S are getting it.

So then add that to the original one. Then the OP (Myself) will update it. That's what people should be doing when creating threads, managing them. If you can't take the time to manage the threads you create, don't create one.

Trust me I get that, but we all know what happens here on XDA. When new articles pop up people look at the first page and if they don't see anything about it make a new thread. I'm not excusing it because yes the info can be consolidated. However the OP will just state they know that there is a thread with similar information but this is new or official or what not and wanted to make a thread about it so the info doesn't get lost. Some will agree, some will not. If you don't you can just report the thread and mods will deem whether it should be closed or merged.

Play nice or don't play at all. It's an elementary concept. If things bother you so much, use the report button so moderators can do their jobs instead of everybody trying to police the fora themselves.

Actually, they're both talking about the same phones really, considering the Telestra model is the same as the AT&T model (Processor and all).

Exactly. I saw the other thread but it was a completely different article about a leak. This is HTC themselves saying "yes JB is coming". That other dude is just being rude cause it wasnt in "his" thread.

be careful who u have do it.. alot of the time the people flash them over but data dont work.. flashedphones.net they are good.. if u dont want to send it to them they can do it ramotely.. u hook ya phone up to your computer and there a program that they use so they take over your computer and do it like that.. pretty sweet!

Old post but...Why not just post a link? If it violates the TOS of this or any site just do some linking that leads to a link site that leads to content. If it's cracked apps just reference the google search they need to do then point to your guides to go with it. Then you're not linking to warez and all is good. I've come across this problem since the 90s. PMs requests almost never get answered if it's more than a few weeks old. It's not hard to avoid TOS violations and saying you have a solution but not posting a solution does no one else any good is just a waste of space and a tease. Glad you have the solution everyone needs who googled such a thing. Though I will not PM you for the solution. I'll go on else where now having wasted way to much time responding to this. Good Day

when going to boost just keep in mind that data will be second rate to sprint. even though sprint is slow and sprint owns boost and virgin mobile. the data you will get is second rate. which means you wont have priority data anymore.

That's not true...Boost Mobiles EvDo 3g is the exact same as Sprints EvDo 3g. What is "priority data" anyways? Not attacking you personally, I think there are a lot of misconceptions..IMHO flashed Sprint phones on Boost work much better than Boost branded phones. Due to several reasons, the major one being that Boost's phones are all entry level devices..also, Boost includes tons of branding and bloatware built into their operating systems and features.
Anyways, I've been flashing phones for a few years, in that time I've flashed over 200 phones(Not sure if I can post my site but my profile info has everything you need to find it)...That being said, I'm always happy to help a fellow xda member (for free of course) or do it for you(remotely) if needed. On another forum, a developer has expressed a willingness to see if he can develop a flashable zip file to allow custom recoveries to be installed on the HAM2. A HAM2 user comfortable using adb needs to see if he can get partition info to the developer as a first step (the developer doesn't own a HAM2). (I don't want to upset xda developers so if you want to read about this, just google "still no root HAM2" or you can pm me.) Maybe, if we're lucky, at least one developer will get a HAM2 and become motivated to develop a root method.

Getting root on this phone would make me the happiest guy on earth! I think we should donate to this guy if we get root. He doesn't even have this phone.

I think it's very similar to the htc bootloader unlock setup, but I don't know if it works for phones bought in the US.

Honestly, this phone has been out in China for a while, and the Chinese are definitely creating roms for it. So if someone really wants to put together some kind of donation pool I can probably just find a Chinese student who can just copy and paste the info from the Chinese language forums.

The US version of mate 2 is not supported.
Just a heads up: the US version is the MT2-L03. Anything other than that could be the Chinese version, etc.
