Hello lovely dev's and mates
my s2 "stock kernel - stock rom- nee "Nordic countries"
keeps heating up, whenever it connects to the internet, before i was using philz kernel and this problem was occurring withing 10 minutes whenever i connect to the internet
but on stock kernel it is not that often, but sometimes it happens although am using greenify - and the experimental features-
so any solution?

First of all, I don't want to offend any of our great X10 developers, but after 1 month of testing, I couldn't make out 1 ROM/Kernel combination, that is actually ready for daily use. WLODs over and over, random reboots when the phone is idle, Wifi Problems over and over, slow performance, high temperature. No matter which ROM or kernel I use, on of those problems occur.
So my question ist, did anyone actually manage to install a ROM / Kernel Combination that fits the following list?
- No WLODs / random reboots. Okay 1 or 2 a month are okay, but 2 a day is to much (MIUI 1.7.22 Android 2.3.4 and CM 7.0.3 Android 2.3.3)
- No reboots when actually using the phone (MIUI 1.7.22 Android 2.3.4 Reboots when shuffling through all my music)
- 100% working reboots (MIUI often ends up in endless bootloops)
- Perfectly working Wifi (WB-Xperia TW 009 cannot connect to 802.1x Network, MIUI Wifi often can't be activated after standby --> reboot --> bootloop)
- Working GPS: I often use my phone for tracking when I'm mountainbiking. Last time I tried with WB-Xperia, my battery drained so fast it was all gone after 1 hour and the phone ended up in a neverending WLOD-loop.
ATM I'm on WB-Xperia 009, but at work I cannot connect to our WLAN so I have to switch again...

Stable as whatever rocks are not so stable as this
Everything works (except the special ones, like Wifi Thether and so on )

Hi All,
I flash latest NDT MIUI ROM (2.3.7) V7.1 + Siyah Kernel 2.2i and i got several problems:
1. After flashing I got Forced close of android. It's show only one time when I reboot the phone 1st time, immediately after flashing.
2. After some time of my phone work, Flight Mode is Turn On and I can't Turn it Off. Only reboot fix this problem.
I already try to flash other MIUI roms and other Siyah kernel - nothing help.
In old rom versions (2.3.5) it's work fine without any problems...
Any solutions?

cm 12.00(unofficial) on i9100 have wifi's problem: if i dont turn off wifi and shutdown(no reboot) it starts but wifi available list just shows searching for ever and we can fix it with factory rest only
but if i turn off wifi and shutdown it this problem will not happens
cm12.1(2014/04/08) completly have not wifi list and i think 12.2 completly destroies phone
xiaomi rom miui v5.3.29 have this problem also
and startup screen have exclamination mark always except install offical samsong rom from sammobile
i tried install cm12 with dorimanx,cwm,siyah but always problem exist cm11 have not this problems

Hmmm, dorimanx and siyah kernel isn't compatible with cm12. cm12.2 doesn't exist yet, maybe it is a kernel related issue. Try apolo kernel 8.0 or gustavo kernel since they are compatible with lollipop.
Hey guys,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-i9100) running NeatROM 6.4 (firmware: XWMS3) with Jellybean 4.1.2 with the kernel XWMS3-5.15.9-PhilZ. Basically I have been getting black screens of death while the phone's idling and not being used - the only way out is to hold the power and home button until it boots back up. I managed to fix the issue initially by swapping kernel and installing Dorimanx v8.43 instead and experienced no BSODs but the problem with the Dorimanx kernel is that I can no long use NeatROM's inbuilt call recorder then (which is a pretty nifty option really). Is this a hardware or software related problem? And is it fixable without changing the philZ kernel or if not, what other kernel can I use?
PS: The NeatROM installer also comes with these three kernels:
- XWMS3-5.15.9-PhilZ
- Apolo Light v4.14
- Apolo Regular v4.14
Should I re-install the ROM and pick another kernel to see if it fixes the black screen problem?

Update: I have reinstalled the rom without the bloatware, didn't install apps like Freedom, Lucky Patcher and Aptoide this time and I haven't had this BSOD hot phone problem since. But now my SD card keeps getting unmounted and remounted several times and this does eat some battery. It wouldn't recognize my external card a couple of times and I had to take the battery out, then the card, clean and blow at it some before putting it back for it to work again. Dying SD card or hardware issue? I have moved my things from it and formatted it from the phone itself since - waiting to see if the unmounting/remounting problem happens again now.
Ive flashed an unofficial gt n7100 cm12.1 yesturday(7-06 build).
since sime error made the rom unbootable, i flashed a custom kernel called widzard kernel2.5
I'm appreciated with the great features and ui.
however i found out that when i plug the cable with my phone powered off, it boots up. It really bothers charging
also sometimes when charging(**only when charging**) my lockscreen(not a custom lockscreen) crashes or says to try unlocking after 30seconds then my phone suddenly reboots.
I think this is a problem with the kernel.
Guys tell me how to fix this problem!!!
I cant even recalibrate my battery!!!!!
