Hi guys,
I wanted to share the new Gmail app version 4.5 with you guys. The new app supports the new categories from Google and I think the ui is very nice. See for yourself and download the apk. I shared this on xda because it isn't updated in the play store for every device. Google is planning to roll it out in the next few weeks.

If you gmail update like what i have done with playstore you get 4.5 so in my way this thread is kinda useless.

Oh sorry, I didn't know it was updated for Xperia P. Maybe U or other xperia user could still use this but thanks for the info tho

After the update i dont get notifications from gmail. I have to look manually to see if there is a mail on inbox

Have you looked at the settings? And did you use the play store version or the one in the tread?

I used both of them. And i cleared History, make all the notifications settings again but nothing helps.

This seems to be really great as it greatly facilitates OTA updates for ROMs.

It's not only for the LG O1, for other devices, too, like Galaxy Ace/Gio, Xperia Ray...

You will get fcs.. The libs used by these apps have dependencies on the twframework.. Some apps may work fine such as the mms app but the messages are not threaded.. Dialer and contacts fc..

Most probably.. Or else you can open them up and properly port them after resolving the dependencies.. Long Road to the same end I believe..

Here i present you the new Play Store from Android 4.2.
I got it from a friend who is working at Google.
Version is 3.9.17, this is a minor bugfix update, but its still not rolling out officically.

Scrollable news widget. It's been discontinued, but has consistently worked for me without any issues.
