Hello, my XDA brothers. I'm currently looking for a full screen called ID mod, not an app or The Poppuri MOD:
I tried the Mod listed in the link and it just wasnt for me. No disrespect to the DEV or anything like that. I'm looking for a similar mod that does'nt have the "black dialer" (see page 3 post 23 in link). I would like the original sammy dialer and contacts. if someone could lead me in the right direction that would be great as well. I searched the forum and google and nothing came up BTW.
Do a search another one is out there
I know im using it

Thanks but still have that black background!
Sent from my BE(a)ST.. Samsung Galaxy Note2
Yes of course!
The black background is stored in the apk.
You can change the background.
I'am change the Background in Black_Silver
You make a Mod with tw_background_holo_dark.png in framework / framework-res.apk / res / drawable-nodpi
Look my screenshot!!
I don't believe any other callscreen mods exist.
One of the major problems with the Poppuri Mod (imho) is that there is no way to see how the thumbnail looks on your screen, without having them call you.
In the stock OS there is no 'display the callscreen' option, and it makes reviewing current images difficult, at best. (yes, you get the tiny shrunken down one, but that sucks).
I ended up using an app called Full Screen Caller ID Pro as a result.
@i'm make and change the background in Sotmax Rom there because the background sits there then also changes.
I have no problems with the Full HD Screen Phone.
And I have no problems with change of background.
How should we also see the full picture if you do not like?
The pictures can be cut out and save themselves and the mod will then generate the full-screen image when calling.

I couldn't get the linked mod to work for me either because I have the T-mobile Note II.
I tried Ultimate Call Screen HD Pro, but didn't like the interface. Now I'm on Full Screen Caller ID Pro (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androminigsm.fsci) which seems to be nicer, but I haven't fully tested it yet.

if you read the first page then you would know that it WAS a rom that was posted bbuuttt since it contained an apk that isn't allowed unless through market, the mod took it down because it wasnt in compliance with the rules here. im excited for it to be reuploaded because i would like to check this out. i too remember this dev from my g1 days
Looks like the chef took the dish and went back to the kitchen
It will be reuploaded without the apk. I can tell ya now, its very fast and stable. Wonkiness is gone!

VERY fast ROM... didn't play around with it too long as I prefer a more stock experience, but it seemed to be ridiculously fast. It's available at the website someone else mentioned... but the ROM is in Spanish in some places.
First off This is a link to a thread by "geenyous" in the One X Forums and I take no credit for it.
Below is the link and basic details as listed in his OP. Follow the link for downloads and more details. It should work on any Sense 4.0 ROM

I am using contacts and dialer, gmail, youtube, talk and the market theme etc and all work flawlessly. Just incase any one else wants to try. I didnt know if it was ok to post a link to them.

I have been running them with zero issue for about a month or so. The ones I have tried appear safe.

It's not built for the Nexus, it is built for the Endeavor (One X). I am tweaking the zip, will post results.
EDIT: As expected, it doesn't work. Phone just bootloops. I will be working on a AOSP ICS conversion mod for our own device. I will post it when it's somewhat off the ground. For the record, the AOSP apps from that ZIP do work, just extract them and push them to system/app I tried contacts, phone and MMS so I can vouch for those. Only thing is (and this even happens with the MMS app ported to our phones) MMS messages don't work, only SMS.
EDIT 2: I was going to hold off on releasing this until it was a bit more completed, but seeing as more than three of us want a stock looking phone. Here you all go :

Thanks for checking this out for me! I ended up getting stuck with work all day yesterday and didn't have time to flash...
Ok, so if you're like me and just want the launcher of Xperia Z as it's unbelievably fluid (seriously), you may install just the launcher and it's awesome widgets without requiring flashing, causing framework errors or anything else nitty gritty, also it is very customisable. It's working on multiple number of phones and ROM's including that which I'm using. Anyway, follow the link I posted below for more info, credits are to him and not me.

I liked the Full Screen Call Picture option present in the GravityBox Xposed Module but I didn't need any of the other things so I extracted only that feature and made it a standalone module.
I did it because I didn't find it as a standalone anywhere else. It's no new thing but I thought of sharing this just in case others might find it useful.
So big thanks to C3C076 for sharing the source code of his application and hopefully some of you will enjoy this.
I've attached the apk, the source code and a screenshot.
Requirements:
Xposed Full Screen Call Picture should work on any device having Xposed 2.1 or greater and Android 4.1 or greater (google based rom.. as mentioned in the GravityBox post "pure or close to pure Android").
Not working with:
- Sense (reported by anant210)
- Touchwiz (reported by oldslowdiver)
Edit:
Now the module can be downloaded from the Xposed Repository.
I try to install apk but I have this message...and I can't install it
Sent from my HTC Desire S using xda premium
Thanks, good idea but doesn't work on my HTC one S with Viper 2.2 (sense based ROM). Other Xposed modules do work though.
Strange. It should work just fine if GravityBox runs on your system configuration.
Quote from the GravityBox post:
Prerequisites
To use this module, the following conditions must be met
- You have MTK6589 device running Android 4.2.1 that's based on AOSP (pure or close to pure Android)
Click to collapse
Now Xposed Full Screen Call Picture should work on any device having Xposed 2.1 or greater and Android 4.1 or greater (google based rom.. as mentioned in the quote "pure or close to pure Android").
I only tested it with my configuration: Samsung Galaxy S i9000 with Hellybean 4.2.2 and Xposed 2.1.4
If you meet the requirements and it still doesn't work... Well I don't really know what could cause that. You could try the GravityBox module and if that works for you then it's something wrong with my apk. But if that still doesn't work for you it's something wrong with the code.

Just open the project with Eclipse and compile (assuming you already have the android sdk - the project should be set to android16 sdk, meaning 4.1.2).
For some reason (if I remember well) the same code did compile with IntelliJ too but simply didn't work correctly (it just dumped errors).
As for android 4.3... It's still working for me on my Galaxy S1. But I have HellyBean (a cyanogenmod extension) which is based on the pure android. It has no special manufacturer UI.
Thanks for making this available.
Would you consider adding the capability to answer (or ignore) by button.

If you mean hardware buttons, you can enable answering by Home and ignore / end call by Power in Settings > Accessibility.
At least this available in clear 4.2.2, don't know about Samsung.

Thanks for the suggestion. On my phone, the home button can be used to answer calls, but the off button will only end a call in progress - not end/ignore an incoming call.
I fully understand if you are not interested in incorporating this capability - I was just looking for a way to replace those #$!(*& sliders with a simple button.
Thank you,
