Does anyone here have the corresponding Gapps for Slimrom's 4.2.2 8.1 build? They dropped support for 4.2 so the links are gone on their site.

https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=5648 has comprehensive list of all the GApps from Donut (v1.6).
I would suggest you to go ahead with the gapps-kk-20140606-signed.zip package.

Actually the issue is with setup wizard in the recent builds. Particularly most of the last week's builds.
Better to delete the setup wizard.
All gapps should work. Just select the proper version
