Every source built rom has different sources...
For JellyBeer its www.github.com/BeerGang/
For AOKP its www.github.com/AOKP/platform_manifest.git
etc. Some Github Organization or Source build roms have www.github.com/ROM_NAME/android.git whereas some have www.github.com/ROM_NAME/platform_manifest.git!
Their are many guides you just need to know the device codename!
Their is a guide my mithun46
This is a good guide by galaxyfreak: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2162951
But you need to have basic source knowledge

Also here is a collection of links of some of the source built roms > http://pastebin.com/xrwK1aD0

As far as I know... PPA no longer exists so follow this post to setup build environment... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2316007
And the guide I gave you is for HTC Pico so obviously you have to change device config and commands
PM me anytime you need help

sorry for (more or less useless) posting, but
afaik CM9 is based on ICS. And because ICS wont be ported officialy for Ace/cooper (official by samsung i mean) it cant be used as base for CM9
hasnt this been posted somewhere by CM-officials? pls correct me if im wrong. CM9 for ace would be awsome (if its working)
CJCord don't trust Samsung! He fu** us and Galaxy S users.
There IS a download link though. Dated 24 june.
Its CM7 link -_-
I do not spam. but I would say at this point we can also think of 1 or 2 months we will be releasing the first nightly
wat ? how ? why ? when ?

OMG .. since there is still available release of CM9 see only those cm7, because it is a general downlaod section, not only for cm7
This is interesting...Best thing we could do is to wait for coolya to have a word on this?

The download link might be,but the changelog isnt.
Code:
Merge "camera: Fix initial parameter setting" into ics
Also, the git branch is tagged as ICS,but, again,i am no github expert.

Hello friends,
can anyone give some advices on how to setup the build environment for compiling CM9 for Xperia P?
I followed this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746931
But I'm not sure where to get the properitary files from. Any idea?
You need to pull them from your device. And may I ask why do you want to compile it yourself?

How do I pull them?
Just curiosity, I want to play a bit. Don't you think that that is a good idea?
Isn't there kind of repo like there was for Xperia mini?

Hello
Nice to see a link to one of my guides over here
As others have told, have the proprietary files not yet been uploaded.

Then maybe I should just relax until the files have been uploaded.
Your guide was very clear and easy to follow. I could build CM9/10 for my mini with that. Would you write another guide like that when the proper files for P are out?
Will make one asap, but it will be for the Sola (should not be a problem for you).
I will make it here in the general section, so you will also be able to see it.

You can build, but there's no point unless you can fix things for now. Almost everything is broken as expected, but hopefully it can be fixed. J knows what he is doing.

I bought a smart phone in March, it called Samsung Galaxy Trend Duos 2 (GT-S7572).
Samsung only gives updates with Android 4.1.
I'd try to use 4.2 fireware, so I want to build a custom rom from CM.
I looked the forums, the ways only for HTC. Can any body tell me how to do it? Thanks.
Can anyone can answer me? Oh no.

Ah.. Sorry if it's a dead link. Respect for trying to build one yourself, I'm not quite there yet. Still just a consumer
And since it seems like the XDA standard, I'll parrot what everyone seems to say everywhere: there's a thanks button, use that to say thanks
Good luck on your project btw! I just started looking into it when I have time here and there, I'd love to make my own ROM too.. One day.

Look at http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Development under the section "Building Basics". Also, if your device is not listed, you'll need to look at the section on porting - http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Doc:_porting_intro. However, you might want to see if someone else has built for your device first and look at the unofficial ports - http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Unofficial_Ports.

Hello, as I see that this phone has no development, I want to help, and I am hopeful that we will have at least Cyanogenmod 12 in a J320M.
I managed to get the kernel source, but my knowledge was limited to build the device tree, and the vendor.
Here I leave the source kernel in case someone serves you, here I will be if you need help.
We are many users with a J3, it is a phone that could easily run Cyanogenmod! :/

Try to build the device tree and I did not make it. There are things I do not understand since the tutorials are in English, and I speak Spanish ...
Even so, if you want to pass the tutorials that are available on the internet, maybe some will do it ...
I will try to port Miui since it uses Patchrom, and a device tree is not necessary.
We need help!
