I know there's some lengthy workaround to the lack of live/msn support on the Touchpad, but it also seems pretty buggy. Is there a plugin available or client app at all?
Thanks!
I dont have a touchpad yet but if nothing else works you could a web app for it.
For example: http://imo.im

[Q] Windows live messenger/MSN client or compatability
The default instant messenger client on the touchpad doesn't presently support WLM/MSN. Does anyone know of any plans to create a dedicated app or a plug in for the stock IM application?
I was going to ask the same thing. Seems like search isnt working, but someone mentioned there is hack to get it working. Just wish search was up! grr

seems a bit much for what its worth, but if youve got some free time
If nothing else works you could try install an msn program from UbuntuChroot?
[Q] can you get msn messenger on the touchpad ?
I see the likes of google, aol etc are there, but the most popular one isn't ?
anyway of adding msn messenger to the hp touchpad ?
the only way ive seen is to use the jabber work around, just google 'jabber touchpad' and it will come up, but you need linux to make it work it seems :/ other than that you could always just use ebuddy from the browser doesnt seem to have any discernible lag
Yeah the chat program is a little lame...no MSN or Facebook chat...and the facebook app doesn't include the chat feature...so have to use plain web browser.
Any update on this? I really need/require msn/windows live messenger support
There is a way to do it, when I have a little time I'll see if I can find the site with instructions.
sounds like an old pirates tale eh?
I'm looking for a few mods I've heard one. the first one is a modded gmail app that allows launcher pro to use notification bases
the second is the Google Talk that allows video chat over 3g
and call recording in call
I've been looking for these but can't seem to find them anywhere, least of all ones that are current and working on the sgs2.. if anyone can suggest any, I'd he really appreciative
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Does anyone know of an app similar to Lightbox, rather than the photo sharing aspect of it I was using it to view photo's posted by facebook and twitter people.
It seems like the only app out there that does it, the only other one I've found is called 'Tweet Photo' doesn't work on my SGS2 or Xoom and doesn't seem to have been updated for over a year.
So I want to make a photo sharing app that basically allows people to upload pictures and can be seen by any other one and comment on it .. More like I funny app but Not too complicated.. I went for Google but got lost so any help
photo sharing app
We don't know how much experienced you are with android programming. So it's difficult to answer. Have you made any attempt at all in creating the app?
Hi all, i was trying to investigate how to stream a mobile game to Discord without a PC (Discord has not yet implemented Go Live for mobile app) and since you can make video calls it came to my mind if there is some App that can "make discord think" that you are using your phone's cam but show your screen instead. I googled everywere but i was unable to find some info about this.
So my question it's simple, is there any app that does this? i think that if it's not here on XDA then im lost xD.
Thanks!
