Is there any way to watch recored videos and pictures from my S III to my Sony HDTV? I know i can use the official samsung hdmi adapter but i'm looking for a wireless solution ( similar to Apple airplay with apple tv). Is there any accessory that i can buy like apple tv to stream videos and pictures wirelessly?
Thanks
Try imediashare app. It works with my s3 and samsung tv.

Does it work on cm 10.1 rom? Or is it touchwiz exclusive?

My computer went down from a bad storm. So for now my only internet is my phone. Can someone kindly tell me how you get your phone to play on the TV so if you use the internet on your phone to watch something like on Hulu it can show on your TV. Thanks for any help.

Hey guys I just ordered a pioneer avh p2400bt and was wondering of anyone has or tried to get video from their note to a unit like this. I was thinking about buying the micro usb to HDMI and getting a HDMI to rgb cable and trying to see if it would work...
Just want to either video mirror for GPS.
Any thoughts? Please share thanks.

Your Best bet would be buying a mhl adapter,it would need to be AC powered though, straight micro to HDMI ,I think, it won't work

Yeah I believe it was. I just wanted to know if I was able to do it and what I needed. Thanks for the replies

Those adaptors were a hack until the MHL TV/monitors came out. There are some Achieva MHL car monitors on Ebay, now.

Are you sure it was hacked? I don't think he did Jack anything. He just bought a HDMI to RCA converter and it was working

I used the wrong word(hack). It is a "temp solution", like those digital TV to analog TV converters used to be.

will try
Not trying to bump this from the dead and kind of the wrong forum, but I just purchased a Galaxy S3 and when plugging my phone into this receiver through USB it says 'incompatible USB' on the receiver. Does the Note have this problem? If it did how did you guys fix it? I'd rather not mess with Bluetooth and since a big part of my day is my commute, I hope this isn't a dealbreaker.
Yeah unfortunately I got this problem with my pioneer... sucked, I was looking forward to controlling my phone with the head unit... I just grabbed my gf's old iPod nano and loaded music to it and I just listen to that... I can also upload videos to it, witch is a plus....

You can use touch emulation. I made a profile for Lego batman, only game I have on onlive since I can't buy games from puerto rico.

The app actually doesn't recognize the ps3 controller as a gamepad AFAIK. You will need to create touch emulation profiles through the Sixaxis app. I have only got Lego batman since it was free when I got the app for my nook color, the profile I made works great on it. Couple weeks ago I wanted to buy dark siders but it wouldn't let me since I'm not in the continental usa. You might be able to do keyboard emulation too for some games, the ones that have keyboard bindings.

Do you have the games from Online (or the full app) in a _terrible_ quality and resolution? Mine seems like it would be a 480p app with bad quality.. And it can't be my internet since it's 100mb/s and full bars on the wifi.
Yeah, the games look much better on my xperia play
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
I think quality issue might be related to the resolution it streams the games at, that's why it looks better on smaller screens. Anyways I'm just speculating here, has anyone ran the app on another 10 inch tablet with better quality?

OnLive is cool, but I get zero lag on PC (two floors abve my router), and about half a second input lag on my tablet (standing right next to my router) :/
And this is using a 360 controller.

They sell a universal online controller that works with onlive and emulators

Hi,
I bought a mhl cable for my s2. Unfortunately, the tv function does not seems to work well. There is no display and my tv says video format not supported. Weird error. Anyone able to advise if there is anything I can do? I am using 42philips8404 tv.

Ensure you are on a stock rom......then check on another TV at a friends place maybe,,,it maybe the cable/adapter or your tv..find out out which one ....
Yeah. I'm on stock Rom. Was wondering if it's my tv that doesn't support. Anyone has idea was the resolution the phone output?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
My first guess would be that the tv is only capable of 576p
SST
Can I use a mhl cable to watch movies on tv with sound. Do i have to have some special setup?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
Special mhl. Not exactly sure why but it has something to do with number of pins I think. I had an mhl cable for my last phone that doesn't work on this one. Also went to best buy and tried a micro usb to hdmi cable they had. It didn't work either.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
Needs to be 11-pin, and needs to be plugged into power. I got this one and it works: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0088...ct=true&ref_=as_li_ss_tl&tag=wwwgadgetgblo-20

Just throwing it out there but if you have an Xbox connected to your TV or if your Tv is DLNA capable an app called Twonky Beam will get the job done
I can't speak for the cable but with the Smart Dock both video and sound are outputed via HDMI to TV. I would think a genuine Samsung 11-pin MHL adapter would work the same.
Do you have the smart dock and if so can you write a review about it and let us know if you think it's worth 100 dollars
