Rooted my HTC ONE S,
Forgot to back up OS/ROM,
Now it has no OS to install,
I've tried EVERYTHING.
I believe I need the orginal OS for the device
I enter fastboot menu
this is what shows on the boot screen

I'm with Virgin Mobile Canada by the way.
Do I need thr RRU, original firmware? Where do I find them if so.
Please any tips would help.
I've downloaded every single OS firmware link & they all fail when I try to install from the recovery menu....

I tired to update to the latest firmware using this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1447839
I followed post #4 until part 4. Now I am stuck in a Hboot/ Fastboot loop.
on my fastboot screen it says:

When I go into hboot if finds the PG86IMG.zip just fine and loads it and checks it. No errors are presented. After it loads, the screen shows:

In this screen, select FASTBOOT, plug it in to the PC, and then run the 2.17. This WILL wipe your data and everything.
Run the 2.17? I have a zip but no .exe Where would I find the .exe?
Use the .zip from xHausx I tried the one multiple times from Mr. Esp multiple times and it didn't work. xHausx's worked perfectly. (Full RUU)

Also try flashing stock recovery before locking your bootloader to get rid of the security warning.
If your still having issues format your SDCard to Fat32.
You guys rock. I got the RUU from here: http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=android&model=Shooter
Worked perfectly. Thank you!
Hello there, I am using an AT&T HTC One and have somehow screwed it up completely. I have ClockworkMod 6.0.3.1 installed and was trying to update my ROM to a 4.4 one, but it was a bad flash with some error, thus leading me to just restart it. However, I found that I cannot get past the HTC white screen, and it just reboots right into ClockworkMod without even being detected by my computer. I can access the bootloader, and recovery, but cannot get my computer or the adb services to recognize my phone. Is there anything I can do?
here is my bootloader screen btw:

Let me know if there is anymore information that you need.
I got an HTC one from AT&T one week ago (online). I unlocked the bootloader on HTCdev. I've flashed a few roms but most have told me I've got the wrong device. My bootloader says:

I think I might have flashed the radio and or the bootloader at some point. Shouldn't my bootloader just show M7? "My box says "Model HTC One 64G SLV"
Right now I have AOKP on it but I'm having some Bluetooth issues and want to try other mods.

M7_UL is normal, mine is from at&t and says the exact same thing, im guessing you're flashing roms that want either m7att or some other device name, all the roms should work that are in the 'htc one android development/android original development' forum. I haven't had an issue save for one or two that again, are looking for an exact device type which can be edited in the updater-script before flashing.
make sure you're not trying to flash roms that require a different CID.
AT&T CID is: cws__001
I think i've broke my phone today, i tried to root my HTC Desire 601 and did the following:
- Unlock the bootloader
- Install TWRP
- And tried to install the supersu zip, but got some errors, so the last thing I did was use the wipe option from TWRP (I think that was what i did, but not actually sure). And rebooted.
After that, the only think that it shows is the HTC screen. I can still boot in HBoot. I really appreciate any help.

Which TWRP did you use? Your hboot and TWRP versions match the KitKat OTA so you need to make sure you are using the OTA compatible version which can be found here, the version on TWRP's site is for devices untouched by the OTA.

I've used the TWRP 2.7.1.0 version. And yes, I had KitKat OTA.
Hi everyone, I recently rooted and installed TWRP recovery and then flashed CM11 Nightly on my HTC One. But then I decided to return to stock ROM and in the middle of the process, my OS was deleted, and I don't have a working Recovery anymore, so I am just stuck on the bootloader, and have been trying to solve this mess for hours.
I can't flash any recovery.img's, as I keep getting FAILED/Errors.
Can't boot into Recovery (no recovery installed)
Can't boot up (No OS installed)

I've tried flashing RUU, but I kept getting the ERROR 155 message. Thus realizing that I need an RUU of the same version of Android. And I can't find a 4.4.4 RUU anywhere.
Any help, please?

Did you run this [RUU] T-Mobile USA | 4.4.2 | Sense 6 | 5.14.531.11 because it is the latest version that T-Mobile has released. If that doesn't work then try this method.

I was able to fix this issue yesterday, it took me a bit to finally find the file from HTC's website. I forgot to update this post, but thanks for replying man
