Go to cwm and wipe cache.
Hmmm...go to develop option and scroll down until you see "show all ANR's" option...if its tick then untick it....that can help you figure out haft of your problem....after you have untick it and still popup regarding FC appear them boot into recovery and do fix permission....it still FC problem appear then change kernel...

That actually helped also. I reflashed and wiped cache. Now no problem.

Oke all, i hope i am not getting in to trouble with this but i just want to help untill FXP is comming with a proper fix.
I post this because a get a ton of pms and not the time to send averyone a link.
All credits go to FXP team that are working so hard to keep ower x10 a live.
Flash this zip with the latest cwm and then reboot. Then you flash the gapps.
Just like the original.
Everything works.
I used the build,prop of FXP41 so about the phone you see 2.3.7.
O and just for the fun i put a different bootanimation in this because then people will now it is not posted by FXP and there for they are not responseble for bricking your phone. Neither am I offcourse.
Have fun.
And this thread will be deleted after FXP is comming with update.

This fix hase no data bug and is the Fxp30 with lib files and build.prop of fxp41.
No data bug and working camera.
I made this because i want working camera and giong back to fxp30 was not a option so i made this.
So do I do a full wipe?
Just to clarify that this is still FXP030 Android 2.3.5 just with newer libraries and build.prop from FXP041.
So if you want a full Android 2.3.7, get FXP041 instead.

Yes but then you have the dat bug again. I made this because of the camera.
So if people do not want the camera just flash FXP30.

I think we all want 041, but clearly it has problems at present.

Not sure what this fixes...I just flashed 041 update over 030 rom (No wipes, just flashed it) and everything is fine...
Data works, camera/video works (Except zoom)....whats the problem everyone is having becaue I cant reproduce it

+1 Wifi worked fine for under an hour....then wouldn't find websites or stay connected to market etc..

I successfully flashed the ROM,but when it boots up,it just shows an empty background,and a popup "Setup Guide has stopped" appears and nothing else happens,I don;t see anything else.

Nope. Nothing happens. Now it just shows the app enabler and then a popup comes up and says that the upgrade is complete.
Just hangs there.

It didn't work.
Nothing works.
I see the lock screen,and i see the status bar.
when i unlock the phone it goes black and says : setup guide has stopped.
And when I try to open settings from the status bar, the system ui force closes

I'm not sure, but the SetupWizard might be using some resources from the framework, but cannot find them by that. Did you remove anything from the framework?
Hmmm...delete setup guide.apk from your custom roms flashable zip then do factory reset on recovery and flash the custom roms again...
if that didn't work try editing build.prop on your custom roms and add this line....
ro.setupwizard.enable_bypass = 1
or....
ro.setupwizard.mode=OPTIONAL
or....
ro.setupwizard.mode=DISABLED
it should bypass setup wizard at first startup....

i have updated my xperia sola to ics, everything is working superb but i noticed one problem, sometimes when i try to switch off my phone by clicking "power off" the phone reboots instead of getting swtiched off. plz help me if someone knows how to get rid of this problem.

Kindly post what type of upgrading you've done.
and state all the process that you did.
basic troubleshooting requires documentation.
If you flashed the upgrade through CWM, try to do a full wipe and reflash it again.
After flashing is complete, reboot and don't you dare touching the screen (just don't touch the phone) during TP upgrade.
usually that is the cause of the problem.
Good if you are lucky !!!

If anybody has a back up of their canvas HD touch calibration taken through Maui Meta I guess it can be restored back in the phone which has failed TP upgrade. Or if some one has a perfectly working canvas HD a back up of touch calibration can be taken and the back up can be restored back in the phone which has failed TP upgrade. No guarantee if its gonna work as its not tested. Good luck.

Unfortunately I had been to the MMX service center yesterday and surprisingly the techs are not well trained, they are not sure what caused the problem. Their solution was for me to change the touch panel which would cost Rs.2500, But i repeatedly told them its due to TP upgrade failure but I dont think they understood. I am stuck and have no way as of now.

Try reflashing the 4.2 stock rom through sp flash tool and your device should be fine.If you want you can refer to this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2471747

how to downgrading 4.2.1 to 4.1.2 in a116 plz help its urgent
tried it all.
sir, i have the same problem. and downgrading from 4.2 to 4.1 DOESNT FIX the problem. i've tried it.
i've also tried upgrading to 4.2.1 but still , that doesnt fix the prob. tried entering factory mode and manually do TP Upgrade but it says,
"Firmware bin failed." it means that the firmware of our touch panel have been corrupted.
i have flashed stock 4.1 and 4.2 Rom via spflash and still that didnt FIX.
only option left for me now is to bring it to service center.
how i wish someone can fix this.
The lag is because of the consumption of resources through the apks..
There is a simple solution to it:
1- If you are on stock ROM and rooted try uninstalling the Stock bloatware>Beware this may brick your device if uninstalled system apks.
2- Try using a different launcher not saying that the stock launcher is bad but give it a shot to NOVA or Apex launcher.
3- Go in Settings-Developer Options and change the Window, Transition,& Animator duration scale to 0.5 or OFF!!
4- Go on play store and search Seeder And Greenify - It works and saves battery too.

I have installed the smart droid 4.3 rom on my i9300 and i got to say the rom is awesome. the one problem i face is that whenever i try to sync the contacts i get the android.process.acore error. i installed the rom after using megawipe and i tried clearing the data and the cache of contacts,contacts storage and phone but to no avail.

@ricky310711 : I have used both ur roms- SPR and smart droid. The roms are awesome. it is smooth and battery friendly but i always get the android.process.acore error when ever the sync is on.

some users say installing some bloat fixes this, we havent had the time to go through it and figure the proper error but i assure you V2.5 the problem will be fixed along with
the wallpaper bug(bad method and mismatched id's in classes.dex)
installation bug(partitions mounted after backups, a temporary fix is to mount /data before installation)
and the camera bug(megabass beats was the cause)
EDIT: im 99% sure the problem is a missing allshare lib, could you flash bloat and install allshare and tell me if problems still persist? you will help the whole SmartDroid community!

Hi ricky310711 don't know if it's of any help but I had a similar problem with gmail and contacts because i didn't install bloatware originally but I just installed the stock e-mail only from bloatware and sync was working again.Not saying this is the solution but it helped me at the time there maybe other things happening not sure hope that helps....

Sorry @ricky310711 was a bit busy with my work. New boss is a slave driver. Anyways i installed the bloatware and it helped. Hope this helps you in making the rom kick ass
