Wanting to have a touchwizz rom on a sony phone doesnt necessarily mean we want another device,that wasnt even asked, so use your brain before saying such things.
if i wa right when the devs tried to port JB they had ported as advance or s3 mini rom wich booted but didnt had bt and some other stuff

and the MIUI is re-started with LGO1 (by me)
Sweat, can you give some eta for the honeycomb? I used to test hc on my phone. Just that the sensor was hard and alot of fc.

why this android version isnt supported? do you think you can copy some libs
from lg ginger to honeycomb and YOU can break the google statement and even
the not working hardware with this version? sorry, i respect every work here -
but THIS android version CANT work with our device, spend your time in useful things

Been reading through the development posts and can't find a stable ROM jb with s-pen apps.
I mean really jb for the note.
Is there such a thing?
Reason s-pen and not Papyrus is I have a Wacom Cross pen and have gotten used to the eraser which only the s-pen utilities seem to work with.

Stock Samsung apps won't be on jb unless Samsung release a jb ROM. All the jb ROMs are aosp based liked cm.
Some apps may work with that pen eraser though, don't have one to test.

he is the community sarcastic !!! he is what i want to be when i grow up. i will have to try the memo beta.. but jellybean and smemo might be a while ,they have to work things out..but from what i have read if samsung/google does not release official jellybean(for the note, it MAY not happen, but you never know, the devs on xda are bad ass!!!

Oh I'm no genius. My smarts about things that pertain to this site however come from reading and searching and learning. Which, oh my, happens to be the golden rule of this site! Imagine that.
I didn't mean my post to cause strife.
I just need a stable ROM because I use my phone for work so I can figured some of you might have real world experience.

If you want a stable non stock ROM go with cm9 official. If you're more adventurous try one of the three JB ROMs.

JB is very buggy/beta at the moment... i've tried them all but i always go back to AOKP ... Never any issues - Smooth as butter!

WOW I thought the xperia S would have loads of development going on, but it seems as though development on this device is restricted to a few. We only have a handful of roms to play with and development is slow, if i could I would help but I have no idea how to and only mess with stuff like miui.
How come there are no developers, i thought this was a top end device ?
I only changed from an Iphone 4s two weeks ago and I am already thinking of swapping it for a S2 or a One X or will development get any better ??

Definitely not from me. Paranoid is ugly as hell, and AOKP has some tablet mode features now.

The Hybrid thing is what attracts me. I love the bottom status bar, but have hate the Facebook its such a low dpi. Love the Settings and Gmail layout, but hate the phone app, or launcher size.

Paranoid is one of the nicest Roms to have imho. Used it on my moto defy and loved every bit of it. I'm just waiting for the cm9 release for the U so that i can port Paranoid on the U. Screen is small but should be good.

Isn't it about time someone ported Multi-Window to our phone? It is called the Galaxy S3 Mini afterall. Seeing as Multi-Window is one of the main features of practically all Samsung Galaxy Phones it makes sense for us to have it. So if there's anyone out there willing to port it, then please do.

I think dariolob said he stopped working on it a while a go. As for trying it myself, I've tried a few times with zero success. My most recent attempt got "lost in cyberspace" because my laptop crashed while recompiling apks, but thanks for the advice though

but I'd be happy to see any new features developed, whatever they are
EDIT: Paranoid Android's HALO feature is IMO better than multi-window and getting that working on our phones should be even better

The low resolution wouldn't really matter. We've still got 233ppi which isn't exactly terrible, I know it's not amazing but it's good enough.
