When i capture a picture i see some black dots. At firs they were small but when the time goes on they got bigger and bigger. I tried to clean the camera with pure alkohol but no help. Any ideas how to solve my problem?
That really does seems like an external problem, are you using some kind of a case that might've cover the cam?
how's the pic's with a different camera app ?

hi, i upgraded my phone's rom from 2.3.6 stock version to Batista/wanamlite version of 4.0.3 and since then i have troubles with my camera.
everytime i open my camera app(original one) i get those weird pink lines and when i try to take a pic it's crashes or take a blury pic, after a few pics it stuck and than force close or telling me that my camera is not connected.
sometimes i can take a few pictures and than it becomes pinky...
when i had GB version it happend once a month and it disappeared but now i can't take pics.
here's an example of this pink lines
anyone can help me?
Try reinstalling that rom . Else you may try
* Illusion ICS 1.1
* Litening Rom
* Foxhound Rom
* Resurrection Rom
All these Rom i have personally installed on SG 2 and had no issues.

it's hardware problem, pink horizontal flickering lines on camera (photo and video the same), there is no other solution, except to take it to a service ... I use it just like phone for now without camera....
hope it helped
hi everyone, i'm a new member here. alright, i was taking picture with my front camera the other day and i realized that the save as flipped function is not working (which is previously working fine a few weeks back). i have not touch any settings on it.
i know i can use photo editor to flip the photo horizontally but it's just too troublesome.
i have switched on "save as flipped" but the picture taken was not flipped. does anyone have the same problem as me? any idea how do i solved it? thanks.
anyone?

I'm not using any camera app. just the normal camera.
Ok, which version of Android are you using?
I ask this because I have never seen this 'flip' feature you have mentioned.

I tried two different ROMs and I experienced the same problem. I think it´s a hardware problem. It´s going to service.
Thanks.

I'm having trouble with the camera on both PAC-man and Jackpot's ROM.
Can you walk me thru how to get it working? I'll reflash whatever I need.

Yes I did. I got camera working by using an app called Snapchat. I'm wondering if there are alternatives to using that app, and wondering if anyone has camera working just using the stock app.

yes buddy front facing and back camera works very well with PacMan ROM, haven't tried other ICS Roms though. I upgraded through Gingerbread. ALthought Recorder seems to crash(I might try out another app for that. )
Please correct me if i'm wrong but i think that with PAC-MAN ROM (4.2.2) frontal camera works but rear camera can't take photos, only can preview images. In CM 10.1 it will occur the same cause PAC is based in it. Am I wrong?
PD: Sorry for my english, I'm from Catalonia.

Is anyone experiencing the same focus problems on K900 since the V4 upgrade ?
The auto focus blurs long range objects but perfect on close ups.
Is there a fix to the problem ?
Thanks !

Still no luck.. Update to 4.3 solved that for me.
I just installed 'A Better Camera' and that took care of the focus issues. Not sure why.
