S4 rom is pretty much the same without the spen functionality. Using your Spen, you already have Air View and most of the other eye candy S4 gadgets.

Found this in the note 8 forum and the link and apk are working for me on my note 2 as well as my friends so thought I would share with my fellow note 2 users

Is it possible to port the Note 3 keyboard over to the Note II? I find the new handwriting mode very useful. It's what the Note II should have had.
