Hi, I have the same one since a week ago. Unfortunatelly I updated it with another Android OS and now I don't have WIFI. May I ask you if you are still on the original firmware to send me the file wpa_supplicant.config? Or if you have the original ROM it will the best way if you can send me the link to download it. Thanks.

Thank you for your answer! Is your device rooted? Because only if it's rooted you can go to the folder where the file is. Or maybe you have the ROM? That will be the best way if you have the ROM to send it to me. Or to ask your reseller to send it to you? By the way where did you buy it from? That might help me to obtain the original firmware.
Thanks

How is the folder named? Let me look in to that first, i don't think the site allows direct company names that sell this product.
I'm surprised about the low info here on this tablet.
Maybe new info i found will help, it's also known as superpad.
And I'm sure it's no fake. Google it. I will not advertise here.
Still need some good info and answers.
Send from my Flytouch 5. (Mercury)
I bought one of these chunks of crap, it ran for 24 hrs now it won't boot it had newer yospad firmware but I can't remember the exact build cause it won't boot now. What I need to know is how to do a hardware reset, not the little reset button it just restarts it or another yospad rom.
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Who the hell gives names to this devices .. ? Flytouch 5 ? zomg!
this is the ONLY company that has the Infotmic SoC available for implementing into tablets:
http://www.shuoying.com/global/index.asp
http://www.shuoying.com/global/Product.asp?/3.html (tablet page)
I Know that, cause I personally visited the head of Infotmic SoC design (Shenzhen) and ShuoYing CEO, also in Shenzhen (Infotmic HQ is from Shanghai)
If there is any other tablet with "Flytouch" design, then they are tempered from the original tablet made by Shuoying, or they are so wild that it is really a mystery of it's origin.
My guess is that those are regular FT2 (since all have the same CPU) tweaked by some wild chinese people, Kernel and OS, and RAM/ROM
not to all - dont buy tablets from companies that dont show up in 1-2 hours search. You'll end up with tablet that someone assembled by hand and a screwdriver, and most probably extremely bad OS.
flashing rom on yospad
Use only Z4 to root the yospad. Can someone leave link for fw flash for yospad

I think your completely right there.
I use it for a remote control know.
Thanks for the input btw.
Digital Zoro - im sorry for your failed tablet device.
On the other hand - I find the FT2 design to be the best tablet design ever. it obviously lacks the fine finish, and better materials, but - 10 inch wide tablet, with every god damn port there is - pure win.
I saw the "actual" FT3 in Infotmic Shenzhen, and it looks awesome - capacitive screen, ARM Cortex A8 based infotmic SoC (about time dudes, you are sooo late) .. dont know why isnt out yet, cause all those named "FT3" dont have same specs as the one I saw.

My Flytouch 5
The design is not really bad and i like that it has the rj-45 port.
The screen I find bad. No multitouch and slow reaction when touched.
Its thick and heavy to hold.
Flytouch 5 should have GPS build in, but it doesn't.
The Flytouch 2 3 4 5 are all the same design. On one moment it lost the second mini sd slot.
Is this only with the fake ones?
No, they are all faulty. the forementioned Shuoying company makes crapy tablets
I took for bussines 30 units the first time around, and I still have 6 broken units. others had flaws, mostly of how they are assembled - everything is sticking out, and such. USB/SD slots die more often than you could imagine.
buttons are the biggest problem - they are not glued in & soldered - they are JUST soldered. so the only thing that holds them into place is Tin (Sn) and we all know how that is firm and solid
oh, there is also a screen problem - there are 3 types of ZIF wire-to-board connector types for the screen, so if you ever need a screen replacement - dont even think about it.
the best assembled chinese tablet is from a company Utopia, in my expirience. you can find them by the name "imx515" A8 or A10 tablet. it turns out that solutions for assemble is better than most of the branded companies.
Hello, I am semi-new here( been around but not a member) , but this issue has brought me lookin for a bit of help:
I purchased a generic "OEM" brand Android 2.3.7 (advertised as 4.1...... liars), attached pictures show the STOCK "About Device" , This unit is VERY close to the OUKU UNBRANDED thread device . But it has an 8 inch screen , no sim slot, android 2.3.7 and an ARMv7 instead of ARMv8. I was able to gain root by flashing the Capacitive BT OBDII SW Controls rom ,built for the ouku 6.5. also I screwed up and flashed the mcu to a lower version that had no sound apparently, so looked around the web for a week tryin to find the original stock mcu , to no evail. I tried one for the s-150 I believe and it upgraded the mcu to a 2.11 version ( still older than my stock one in the screen shots).
Basically, after all of that, I got it all working GREAT!, every factory app works perfectly, bt w/torque works amazing and so does the canbus adapter that came with it . , keyboards and Bluetooth mice work , phones work , hard disks and unpowered hubs work great. . everything but ANY kind of gamepad or controller device works absolutely great. , so I looked around and found that I am missing joydev.ko and that is the one thing in the way ( I tried a lot of apps and terminal commands, a weeks worth) , SOOO I need to find a way to get that file compiled for my device , I know basic coding and am an intermediate user of Linux for the last 24 years , so I can help in any way needed, when I try to insmod ANY joydev.ko that I can find I get an error telling me its compiled for the wrong arch..... guess I am gunna have to be the first to make one because this NEEDS to happen( video games in dash .. Battletech 1 and up haha)
Anybody willing to give the new guy a hand? could be a pretty fun project in the end!
...Also, I am willing to learn how to port a rom to this thing.... that could be an even easier way to make this work right? Any help would be great if you guys could point me to the right place/person.
Hi guys,
I have a bunch of these tablets available and they're quite useful - the only hitch is that the company selling them has no idea what they are or what they're capable of. So what I'm trying to do is identify exactly what tablet this is so that I can figure out what roms might work etc.
It's based on the RK3188 chipset so that's fine as rockchip are pretty decent for firmware etc - I just want to make sure I get the right stuff.
I can adb into it and managed to dump all the info for it: Wpq0qfby (pastebin)
The homepage_base url points to Aurus Electronics but the only 10" device there isn't quite the same - the camera is different as are the specs and the button layout.
It most closely resembles this: PIPO-M9-Tablet-Resolution-Android on amazon but again, although it has the metallic back plate, the button layout and so on are different.
It is most likely a China based knock off. As for roms you will be hard pressed as there is no kernel source for these devices and most of the time they don't even have the hardware they claim they do.
I purchased a generic 10" tablet on ebay said to have android v8. I bought it for my kid
When it arrived 1st thing I did is try to install google family link for kids (req Android 5+)
It failed, Kodi install failed.
When I went into Soft version it's said android 8.1 when I clicked the version 10 times the K popped up.
It must be android v4 spoofed to show 8.1.
This generic tablet is useless to me, it has a MediaTek Chip MTK6797 or so it says (don't know what to believe now)
Any way I can get a new update on this to at least give me android 5.
Is the MTK6797 capable of anything above android 4? What determine what android can be installed? I'm thinking this cpu can handle something about 4.44 but I'm not sure what rom I would need that would work this this.
This is a very generic tablet I purchased a similar looking on fro Telscast and it was fine that is why i bought another, it looked identical but not a telcast and from a different supplier .
Thank You,
if you payed with paypal, you can ask the total refund. which is a much better option than keep that tablet.
Got a full REfund
Got a full refund this morning,
I got to keep this knock off, wondering if there is any FW's that would make this work correctly and higher then 4.4
@Nambi_
The hardware for which an Android version can be installed is defined by Android Compatibility Definition Document. A board will only be able to run an Android version perfectly if it supports the basic requirements listed in Android CDD.
Of course, you can port a higher version to a board that does not meet the criteria but it would be totally mind draining work.
HIT THANKS IF FOUND USEFUL
I just picked up a dirt cheap, dirt low end Turewell Allwinner H3 T95 "Super" box. It is every bit as underpowered as those familiar with this line expect, but I bought it for a very specific application that requires very little horsepower. In short, it offloads some apps from my phone, and makes them available to Home Assistant via Tasker / MQTT. For the money and for this application, it was a good buy, I think.
But being able to root the box would be icing on the cake.
I have looked around for root methods and rooted firmware, and turned up very little. H3Droid might work, even though it uses Android 4, I think - I do not need Q, which it is running now. I just need UID0.
If it helps any, it is a Dolphin_P1 Mbox currently running mbox_10.2.0_20201017, with a Sun8iw7p1 SOC at API level 10, running Android 10 at kernel 4.9.170. The GPU is an ARM Mali-400 MP.

I couldn't be less knowledgeable about Android TV boxes, but I am sure that I can manage to use PhoenixSuite or whatever is necessary. I just can't track down TWRP, CWM or a rooted firmware. Am I searching in vain?
Thanks,
SP
I think magisk procedure can help.

Looks like is the same hardware, just another android version.
Hope it helps.
