I used window explorer to transfer a bunch of files such as pdf, excel etc.. but when I open office 365 and click on documents on your phone. I couldn't find any files that I transfered.
How do I get to the files?
Well lets start by back tracking and asking where you moved the files too on the phone when you used Windows explorer and then are the files still there when viewed with Windows explorer now.
Then are you telling the app to look in that directory for the docs. It won't just scan the phone and find all the docs. You have to point it to the docs.
Have you tried another app like Open Office? Just to make sure the app is not the issue?

Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to add a bookmark to the quicklinks but have it open with a browser different to the default one.
I have opera, skyfire and ie installed and would like to have the bookmarks open in the most suitable one.
Thanks
easy, create a normal shortcut to the program, (tested this with opera and iexp,) don't have sky installed but probably works, i think its a browser standard, it works on the pc too.) then copy the shortcut to your pc (or i used notepad for win mobile)
open the .lnk file in notepad, you will see
22#"\Windows\opera9.exe"
then just add a space followed by your url
22#"\Windows\opera9.exe" http://samsamuel.co.uk
or
24#"\Windows\iexplore.exe" http://samsamuel.co.uk
save it, copy back to phone and drop into windows/start menu/programs to be able to assign to quicklinks, or wherever you want to store them.
cool, thanks!!
I need an app that will open an Excel file so I can read and edit it. I got Office Suite Pro but I don't understand how to open an excel attachment in a email.
Please advise
I think that might depend on the email client you are using, but you should be able to just download it to your phone and open it there. I don't use that program, I use Quick Office Pro and the couple of word files I've opened I just clicked the attachment and it downloaded and opened it.

Hi,
I have a ton of mp3 folders neatly organized on my GS2 and sometimes when I have people over I´d like to simply share a playlist that I´ve created on a folder. Is there an app that lets me do that? So far I´ve only found apps that allow you share files by manually selecting each file...which would mean having to select each song one after the last one ended.
WiFi File explorer lets you share any number of files/folders. You just type an IP address in any browser window.
On mac, I use an app called "FileShuttle" that lets me drag files onto it on my dock and it would create a random name (normally a bunch of numbers) for my file (to avoid file name conflicts) before uploading it to my own FTP server. So for example, when I drag my sample.jpg into FileShuttle, it would be called 4283748013.jpg instead.
I want to now if there's an app like that for Android, only, instead of having to drag and drop, I want to use the built-in "share" functionality in Android so along with Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox, etc, I want to have an option to "Upload to FTP" or "Share with FTP" with the file file still being randomly named. After uploading, the path to the file (which I'll define) should be copied to the clipboard, ready for pasting.
Anyone know of such an app?
Hello
I was wondering if there is an app or similar that could help me open and view the .xml files that are made when MSN backs up the history logs on a computer on a android tablet?
I'm starting to use my Prime tablet more than my old Laptop, but I still need easy access to my MSN chat logs from my computer, and when i open the .xml files with a text editor, the result is chaos (as I would've thought it to be), so I need something to display it with properly.
Any ideas?
