Hi man!! I was also disappointed with adw launcher with this bad behaviour, forcing closes and else... So I decided to look for another launcher... I tried Go Launcher, which is more stable, but eats a lot of ram, and now I'm using Zeam Launcher, which runs perfectly in my mini... Its smooth, fast and stable, no force closes till now...

In the gingerbread firmware for LwW and other similar series of sony, i see those four corner shortcut curves (which actually is not so good looking) how do i remove it??? okay i'm rooted and i run custom firmware!! but i just want to run a rooted stock without those shortcuts!!!
this four corners is part of the home launcher.
use another launcher like go launcher or holo launcher
alright then will it be possible to replace the home launcher of gingerbread with that of the ics??

Just install a different launcher. There are many free ones available on the play store. My personal favourite is go launcher.

Note: Please don't advice to root my phone.
I want my all icons, everything to be changed to a different theme, like the nokia have different kind of themes s2 only has the go launcher app which just changes the background images and color rest everything is same.
I 've tried the SPB SHELL 3d, It's awesome but i dont want to use that as it's just full 3d.....
anything else can make my s2 look a really cool and funky???

Have you thought about trying MIUI? You can basically customize anything and everything
EDIT: why dont you want to root your phone?
Roms are the way to go along with custom launchers and themes. Btw i feel this is in the wrong section

I second that, however if youre not looking for a new rom you could always try another launcher like go ex or adw launcher, or even flash the galaxy s3 launcher

Yea, he could also try the MIUI launchers. I there there's an app called MILocker and a MIUI launcher in the play store also.

no , non of these launcher requires root , at least the first 7 launchers do not require root (superuser access )

Go for Apex Launcher Pro it is the best launcher for ICS and JB ( IMHO , does not worked in GB

If u have android version over 4.0 u should try downloading Apex Launcher!

k its working.. But i mean it as a replacement for slide lock.. I mean no icon in menu and like CWM mod..

Actually Holoo Locker has a serious security flaw/ bug.
When you wait some time at the PIN input screen, Holo Locker shows up. When you unlock the screen with it, it bypasses the PIN input screen! So you can use the phone without the PIN.
You have to input your pin immediately, before Holo Locker has a chance to start up.
Otherwise it's pretty much perfect.
Hi. I'm running Feralab JB ROM. One thing I noticed is that it has the new Sony Locked screen where you can slide left to right for music, right to left for camera and either up to down or down to up to unlock the phone.
How do I change it to the JB Slider shortcut where there is a lock symbol at the middle with the camera icon on the left, Google at the top and unlock to the right?
seems like that xperia z lockscreen is the default one in Feralab JB, i dont know if there is an option in it to get the stock cm10 lockscreen or not, but you can install Holo Locker from play store, almost the same .

There is an option to customize the slider but I can't seem to enable it for some reason.
Hey hello maybe u can try delelting the apk from it. Because if i am correct not 100% sure the default lockscreen is part of the framework-res.apk or systemui.apk and the sony one is maybe interrupting the default one.
But be warned make a backup first in cwm recovey because u never now and it maybe doesnt boot without.
