Im using HTC DESIRE A8181 and upgraded to 2.3.3 gingerbread. I managed to S-OFF my phone but unable to install superuser from sdcard and none of the tabs at Revolutionary window are not function.

hi im new to evo 3d and this kind of rooting. i have rooted htc explorer and neo v before n that was too easy but im stuck in htc evo 3d rooting now.
as more guides i read on rooting it, as more confused i am becoming. at the moment im totally confused what should i do first and in next steps. i have already unlocked bootloader through htc dev site. and tried different guides to install recovery in it but it never give any error in installing recovery and it also doesn't boot in recovery afterwards, please help me rooting it in right steps i should take, thanks

I bought a HTC Evo View 4g online (used) and when I got it the device was already rooted with revolutionary CWM v4.0.1.4. When I booted into the bootloader this is what the information read:

My question (and i apologize for the very noob question) is can I flash a JellyBean ROM such as Evervolv from this state? I use an HTC amaze as my main phone, but for some reason this particular device is a bit confusing to me probably since I didn't go through the process of rooting it myself. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
If you unlocked you bootloader, then S-Off, have CWM installed, you're good to go! Good luck
just make sure you are not flashing a honeycomb or Jelly bean rom on a ginerbread hboot or vice versa

I have previously rooted an htc evo 4g and achieved s-off, I use Amon-ra recovery on that phone and was wondering if I was stuck with cwm recovery for the htc evo design. Additionally is it possible to achieve s-off on the htc evo design? There is just not a lot of support for this phone and I am not sure all of what is universal for android or htc phones. I need some help with my htc evo 3d (gsm). After long time of using htc sense I decided to try Cyanogenmod and I stopped on this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2526391. It says that it Requires HBOOT : 1.49.xxxx and S-OFF but my my evo has hboot 1.53.0007 and it's s-on. I searched the internet for a method to downgrade it and get s-off but I couldn't find just the right thread. So my qustion is how to get these things right so I can flash this ROM?
