Rev. A on official rom release question.

I noticed that in the ##778# feature, under data parameters, there's two items. Packet Dial String, which the setting is #777, and Rev. A, which the setting says "Disable". You can edit it to say Enable or Disable. If the setting says disable, does that mean you have to switch it to enable for it to be on?
Just wondering, haha
It should be set to Disable in the data parameters for Rev A to work. If you switch it to enable, then will revert to Rev 0.
Thank you very much...

Proxy settings not editable?

In the WiFi settings for a hotspot I can open advance settings and enable manual proxy. But I can't edit the settings. The example/default values are greyed out and are not editable. Anyone else have this experience?

[Q] Change System Setting programmatically

Hello,
I would like to change a setting in system settings.
Unfortunately, it is a custom setting, So I think the only "real API" would be reproduce the change opening the respective activity and select the wanted options.
Any hint if what I plan to do is wrong?
Listen for a specific event to happen (beginning of call / ending of a call)
If the event occurs, Load the activity correspondig to Audio Output selection
Select the checkbox
Close it
It will for sure create some flickering...

[Q] Remove Ongoing WIFI Notification On MI1

I have found in SQL an entry for wifi_watchdog_on with the value set to 1. When I set this value to 0 and reboot, something triggers the value back to 1 and the ongoing wifi notification appears. Can someone with a little more knowledge than me figure out what's triggering the 0 to change back to a 1. If so, turning off this pesky notification will be simple. Or, will deleting this entry cause a brick?
it's in
settings storage>settings.db>global>wifi_watchdog_on
Thanks for any help.
that would be a nice fix

[Q] [Question] How to add more trace elements in Android Device Monitor?

For debugging, I used monitor.bat from the device and got a trace.html. If opened it by Chrome browser, there are many colorful bars which can be searched them at the right of the top .
and I`m wondering that if I added a private trace function and called it, Is there any way to add or register that trace function to print it as graph bar when open trace.html by Chrome?
So I want to check that private trace function was called or not visually between other graph bars(ex. IRQ, TIMER)
