[Q] HTC ONE 802t China - AT&T HTC One (M7)

Hi,
I have buy the new HTC ONE 2 weeks ago in China (the one with 2 sim card).
As It has been bought in China, I cannot install google play (I install it, but the apps cannot run) and I cannot download anything as my only HTC market access is in Chinese.
I would like to root my phone in order to install and use google play but I don't know which way to follow.
Does anyone know how to root the HTC ONE 802t ?
Many thanks in advance for your help

I don't understand why people come here for help and not the international section where people might actually have the phone

Possible to install Android OS on Blackberry Playbook? Not just the Marketplace/apps

Wondering if there has been any advancement on this as there isn't much on this site as of late.. Got one of the playbooks for $199..great deal.. it's decent but NEEDS Android badely..have only found a few hacks to allow Marketplace to be installed and apparently run Android apps on it...is this true? if so..is it done well and worth it? but more importantly is there anyway to hack the os to install Android and not just the app marketplace?
This question has been asked days ago in question and answer as well.
The thread said : someone has successfully rooted it, and a custom rom is coming soon.
Accidentally sent from my Google Nexus S using XDA Premium

[Q] Is there a ICS 4.0 ROM for Samsung I9008L?

Hi! Is there any ICS 4.0 ROMs for Samsung I9008L? It's a phone that I've recently bought in China and I realized that there are no official update for this phone as it's a China Mobile modified phone. If there isn't, is it possible for any pros to help make one? A search on Google shows that many users of this phone are asking for one too but to no avail, so I thought I'll ask on XDA since there are pros around. And, thanks in advance!

[Q] One X+ Root

Hello there,
I just got my HTC One X+ and have it all stock.
Only thing i want is to get ROOT acces, so i can use and delete certain apps.
What is the best way to do so?
Dont want to install custom ROMs or Kernels yet.
Also i wonder, if i ROOT it and later on i get a official HTC update, will it un-root again?
Ow btw, when i go to htcdev i cant see the One X+ (i probably overlooking something)
Help me out and i will thank u
Greetz!
I also have another question:
With the One X Plus u get a free urBeats headset if you register it @ HTC.
But on pics ive seen on the internet i see some sort of disk with the free urBeats on them.
i didnt have anything in my package referring to the urBeats > but i have ordered them @ HTC
I just had to upload my purchase paper and my IMEI number.
Hope this is good, anyone knows?

Bro here is my recommendation...use the following tools from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1994961
Also when you go to HTCdev, you dont need to look for the exact One X+, you can just choose any supported device will do.
Personally I am also on stock....have not install custom ROMs yet (waiting for more ROM to come up and stabilize).

I think this one depend on the country where you buy it from?? Some country may have the promo and some not. That is why they need your IMEI so they can determine which stock it is??

HTC One X+ Taiwanese

(Moved from HTC One X Thread)
Hi, I tried to find all the information I could about this subject, but everything leads me to the One X, no One X+.
I just bought a new HTC One X+ here in Mexico but it came with some kind of version for Taiwan only. I'm wondering if there is a way to install it a stock rom from US or America in general.
It works as expected, is just there are some weird language and text options, also I don't want to have region troubles with apps and updates.
I'm a totally ignorant on this, so I'm not sure if it's exactly a ROM I need for this, or even root access.
A huge thanks in advance.
I think you device is Taiwan international..so it support English...for the US version is not the same...it is because hardware different..so if u put us version than u most likely brick...so before you do anything...check your cid...what us your cid?

Help my with identifing this phone

I got a Chinese version of a HTC smartphone from my fried as a gift, while the phone does support English, it doesn't come with Play Store or any gapps. Which I planned to install a custom ROM with better international support.
The problem it that the phone model is simply identified as S610d without any othere names, I don't even know if this is a China only phone that's not sold in anywhere else, or it's just a globally available phone with different ROM/BB.
If there're not custom ROM available, can I root it just like other HTC phones?

Hey I think you already got your answer.
This phone is also called "HTC Merge" or "HTC Lexikon".
I haven't found any information if it is possible to use custom roms for both of these phones to apply it with this specific Chinese exclusive version.
But it definitely would give you more freedom in order to get the Google Play Store or more.
