Hello,
I have recently run into a problem with my s2.
On every unlock It gives me a toast massage that I had never seen before.
It says: "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid UUID: "
I run the latest CM 10.1 NIGHTLY, but I am quite certain it has nothing to do with the current NIGHTLY, as I flashed an earlier version in which the toast massage didn't appear, but the problem didn't go away...
Has anyone encountered a similar problem before?
Thanks in Advance
Torron
Ok, I figured it out.
This is due to a specific app being configured with the wrong uuid...
For me this was "Pebbler"

As titles states whenever I open the Samsung IM I get a "Connection Failed" message and the App is not usable. I am running stock XXKI3, any tips or ideas as to what may going on here?
No one has seen this before?
Have the same problem on my skyrocket.
ROM: QuickWiz v1.0.3
Anyone have any tips/help?
Thanks.
When I enter *#7465625# to check the lock status of my stock S2, I get an error message... process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force close"
I've searched here and all over the web, but I can't find anything. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Thank you for your help.
what process did you try to unlock it? wait, did you even try to unlock?
Not yet. I'm going to root, as well, but I wanted to see what the lock status of the phone is. The status code works fine on my S, but not my S2. I'm at a loss as to why.
Thank you.
Are you on the stock dialer?

Yes, stock everything. I'm thinking I should try another reset and then just getting a replacemwnt phone if that doesn't work.
Hello I am very new to the XDA forums so please don't bash me =D
I rooted a Galaxy S2 I9100 today and flashed the Jellybam ROM (which is totally awesome!).
However, after the flashing a strange problem appears only with one special app:
Whenever I type in the trillian messenger, trillian suddeny signs out. I can sign in afterwards but the problem keeps coming up - the problem does not appear with the facebook messenger.
Do you have any clue why this is happening and how I can solve that? I already tried reinstalling the app without success.
I wanted to post the problem in the Jellybam thread, but I can't until I have 10 posts... =D

I've been having the "can't connect to camera" issue on my phone.. I read around the s3 forums and found that the driver was causing this.
I went back to stock ROM (i was on cm10
.1) and tried to do the *#34971539# code on the stock dialer but whenever i did so, only a black screen would pop up then a message saying " Factory test has stopped". I tried switching between different stock roms but the message still appeared. I did full wipes, reboots etc.but still nothing. One time, the camera firmware menu appeared and so, i clicked "Flash new firmware". While flashing, it closed midway and the message "factory test has stopped" appeared again. Now, my camera still doesnt work and i still camt make the camera firmware menu show.
Any ideas? Is there another method to flashing camera firmware driver? Like a tool, etc? Many thanks to anyone that can help. I really want to get my phone camera working. :/

Hi. Thanks. I've been up and around the.forums but none seems to have an answer.. if i may ask, does returning from odin reset the camera drivers if the phone? Or is there a way to at least reset the camera driver?

Hi all, as i wrote, after installing CM 10.2 based roms i'm unable to send sms. It says error code 1. I tried different versions of roms and still no go on 4.4. I've typed *#*#4636#*#* to check message center number and it's "601000310',129 (correct number is 601000310) i tried to type country code, updated it, tried another way (+ and no + before number) and it is still not working. Any ideas how to fix it?
Ps. I wasy trying to remove Voice (freeze it, stop it and remove it) it didn't help.
Thx for your help in advance.
Are u using whisperpush? It might have a connection with this. Try using it if you werent and try disabling it if you are using it.

It was not related to it, but i have the solution. The problem was with SMSMC, after i was updating it to correct number system was changing the entry from "XXXXXXXXX,",129 to "XXX/XXX"XXX.129, so i updated it once again. After checking it was bad again, so i updated it and restarted the phone without checking, now it's working. So it looks like checking the number is changing it somehow.
