If your phone is AT&T I'd try the AT&T one first
I apologize if this is a stupid question, but I couldn't figure out the answer clearly after doing a search. I currently have the S3 with sprint and am using the CyanogenMod 10 rom. I want to switch to T-mobile (b/c their service is better in my area) and I know that I will have to get a new S3 that works on their HSPA (or whatever its called) network. My question is will the same ROMs that worked on my Sprint S3 work on my Tmobile S3, or are roms carrier specific? Thanks
Hello, i am wondering if there is a way to add aws 3g to any other model of the HTC One. I have the T-Mobile variant but my friend has a Fido version(So ATT). I wanted to know if we can add a T-Mobile HTC One rom to it or if there is a way to import radios. I know that qualcomm chips are highly customizable in regards to radios and wonder if there is a way to add it. We would like to add AWS to it so it can also work on aws companies like wind or mobilicity. All help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I have an AT&T unlocked htc one x+ that i want to use with prepaid T-Mobile sim card, do i need to change the original AT&T Rom that comes with my phone to be able to use it with T-Mobile or i need to change only the APN settings ?
In case that i need to change the Rom which one do you recommend for T-Mobile to use LTE speeds ?
I have a AT&T branded M8 that I use on Tmobile because it is sim unlocked. My question is, do I flash custom roms from the Tmobile xda board or do I stick with AT&T roms only? I've never use a nonbranded phone! Thank you.
Its a tricky question, actually. In general any ROM meant for the GSM M8 should be "safe" to flash, in that they won't damage your phone and will work for the most part (but stay away from the CDMA ROMs for Verizon and Sprint). But some ROMs might work better on your specific (T-Mobile) network. Also, a different radio may or may not affect reception. The most you can really do is to read up or ask other T-Mobile users (or even T-Mobile customers using the AT&T version M8 like you) what has resulted from trial and error; or experiment yourself.
