When u compiled,did u see 2 apks in your "place here for modding"folder? One bigger in size then the other one?. If so delete the smaller one then copy the bigger one to the "placehereforsinging" folder then open script up and hit sign apk.. Then it should be in your place here for modding folder.. Rename to whatever u want then good

Good luck with uot kitchen... Don't waste time trying to change the status bar... I spent some time on it and some parts work, but most of it appears to be overridden by NRGZ theme.

Just a thought (remember I'm no dev) but when using root explorer, in /data/app, one of the apps is AmazingSenseBlue-1.apk...... Now prolly a dumb question, but is THAT the theme of the Energy ROM?

The only way to test that is if you delete it and see what happens, since the skin is called HTC in the skin section

The Amazing Sense in Energy ROM is a Skin. It changes some aspects of the Sense like the Widgets and launcher appearance. You can actually change the look (color mostly) of the Notification bar by using the skin. Maybe if you modified the skin it will be a lot easier to give it a theme.
This would be nice if anyone could do it... I mean, after all, Rubies are Red!
Maybe NRGZ could grace us with a version of his ROM, if not unthemed, an ability to at least edit the current theme.
I know he said he's done with this phone until ics comes out, just pipe dreaming maybe?

I'm trying to edit the framework, so that it could edit the Rom properly....... I'm going to try to make a completly red theme for NRG's Rom, hopefully he makes a naked version of his Rom for ICS?

This is harder than one might think. The m10 files & 9.png's are a b*tch.
NRG edited sooooo many files (png & xml) in framework, rosie, resources, systemUI and many of the system apps.
I am making progress on a complete Sense 4.0 theme but I just decided to start over from scratch...again. It is tedious, time-consuming work. I am *maybe* starting to get the hang of it.

Here is my latest work, a theme for Go Sms Pro called Interest. It is still a work in progress and if this works out well I may end up making more.

There are a few ways desktop visualizer(maybe other apps that allows this) .
You can decompile or open in 7zip in archive and change the icons in every apk.
Hope that helps some

Very nice. I got a question for ya. Are you having issues recompiling Settings? Or LGSystemUI. It looks like your Settings is working.
No they compile fine. First time I compiled settings it gave me some resource errors, but I got it going after after including it in apktool's framework files and using the 2.0 beta9 version of a apktool.

Currently finishing systemui(going to use the lollipop icons), and the trio.. contacts/incallui/teleservice. So in short, very soon.. I am going to share it after I finish those. I will add the other apps after release like mms, gallery, hangouts etc etc.
